Good point, I thought I heard the guys on the Ticket say our longest play given up on defense this year was a 24 yard pass against Washington in garbage time

Yes...Watkins came out of no where and stop a big gain for them......the kid is really coming on strong

Yes... like TNew... not hearing much about Watkins is a good thing... means that not much is going on around him....

I remember thinking how huge a play that was, and how disciplined he was, and how he'd apparently learned how to tackle correctly.

I also liked the way he reacted to the long fumble return as if it was no big deal. Just flipped the ball to the ref.

Parcells may not have liked Watkins tackling style in first 2 games but he sure likes his ability--and even more his potential--to want make sure the kid doesn't get hurt using poor tackling technique. Unfortunately game not shown here in Tampa--we got the Skins-Jacksonville game--what a disappointment cause I wanted the Skins to lose. So glad to hear that Watkins is beginning to show why he's our starter despite being a 5th rounder. Hope he keeps it up. I'd love to see him have a breakout game on national tv against the Eagles. In additional to a few deflections, maybe 1-2 INTs with him taking 1 of them to the house.
