lol, maybe I'll have to go pick them up and catch up. I'm assuming the typical 13 episodes per season, times 3 season, 39 episodes/hours. That's a lot of catching up to do.

Season1 is only 7 episodes (because of the writer's strike). THere have been 4 seasons for a total 46 episodes. ANd there's nary a clunker in the bunch. Best. Show. Ever.

Beware of old men ringing bells.....DING!

Gotcha. Guess I'll have to look for 'em and start catching up.

It basically a cop show but each of the 5 seasons had a different theme about corruption in the city of Baltimore.

Season 1 - The police dept
Season 2 - The ports
Season 3 - Politicians
Season 4 - School system
Season 5 - Media

Within those themes you see the lives of the police officers, drug dealers, and other various characters.

It's very well done.

no because i have no cable. my cable company is evil.

Breaking Bad is on Netflix. There are plenty of decent cable series available as well for only $7.99 a month.

I have Breaking Bad in my instant queue, but I haven't gotten around to watching any episodes yet. If it is as good as the Wire was, perhaps I will begin watching soon.

Best show on TV and, IMO, the best ever. The last two episodes of season three and premiere and finale of season four were TV perfection. The scenes with Walt and Gus talking with each other are so good you forget what you're watching isnt real.

AMC really has it going between Mad Men and BB. The difference between the two is that BB does something for you every episode, whereas Mad Men makes you sit through two or three sleepers every year between the good stuff. The season three finale of Mad Men was every bit as good as anything BB has done, though.

Never seen the Wire but I plan on checking it out.

I just finished the 2nd season, a lot better than the 1st IMO. And will start the 3rd soon enough.

I'm liking it a lot.

I can't wait for Breaking Bad to come back! It's one of the best shows you'll ever watch.

Love Netflix. I have been really getting into Prison Break lately. It's so intense and makes you want to watch one after another.

One of my favorites. I have watched the whole series at least 3 times.
