Yes, very shocked. I'd have played that last hole safe and not brought out the driver. He's my favorite golfer too, so I was pulling for him hard.

Completely shocked. I'm not even going to fault him for going driver off the tee.... he gets a pass there, because part of you wants to put an exclamation point on the win. But the second shot is inexcusable. If you're one shot up in the US Open, and find yourself in the gallery, you play for the playoff, play for the bogey. Don't go for par from that spot.
