Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

Has anyone been to a Dolphins game?

We are going to the Cowboys - Dolphins game from DC and I am looking at tickets.

My question is: what is the ticket situation at the stadium? available? There are tons available through the usual online brokers, but am wondering if it will be easier and cheaper to just get them there.

any other tips? thanks!

I'll be there with about 30 other cowboy fans. I've been to JOE ROBBIE STADIUM many times. I think they're may be some tickets left, i went thru the dolphin ticket office(group sales). I had to buy a second game, raiders or bengals are the choices. The 2 tickets came about to be 90 bucks. Not bad, you're going to pay a scalper twice that amount. I'm expecting to see at least 30,000 cowboy fans sept 16. My tickets are in the upper deck, that's all they have unless you go thru a ticket agency or scalper good luck.

No way you are paying a scalper twice as much.

It's a regular season game. Worst case scenario you would pay 120 for 90 seats. Most likely you will pay 75 per seat or less.

I'll be there as well...

Section 451, upper corner of the end zone, opposite the Cowboys bench.

It's the cowboys, they haven't played down here in 10 years. Trust me when i tell you this ticket will be hotter than any other dolphin home game including their most hated rival, the jets. The dolphins didn't make you purchase another game along with the cowboys game for nothing.

Dolphin season ticket holders get the purchase at least 5 single game tickets. The ticket brokers probably paid double face value for those tickets, because the demand will be high for this game. That's why i went the group sales route. 2 games for 90 bucks can't beat it.

I too will be in the house. My parents live in Florida and I'm going with my Dad.

There are TONS of tickets online. And yes, the prices are much higher for the Cowboys game than any other game of the season.

The lower level seats from brokers seem too high right now - @ $200 per. I think the prices will go down next week because there are so many available.

Back to my original question: if you have been there, what is the scene outside the stadium for selling tix? cops every where making arrests? readily available?

thanks!

WOW it appears there will be PLENTY of us in the house. I too live in maryland and will be in miami sept 14-16 visiting my sis and will also be catching the game on sunday. I dont believe we have tickets yet but ill have to double check w my sis as my cousin (who also lives in MIA) is engaged to a fins season ticket holder...

I'm gonna be there too! Its gonna be my first game so I've been pumped for like the last 2 months. You gatta buy em from one of the online ticket brokers as the tickets sold out 10 mins after they became available (guess there's alot of Cowboy fans down here)

As long as you're not gauging you shouldn't have a problem. Cops aren't a problem. You'll see people outside holding up signs saying the need tickets, or they're selling tickets. Shouldn't be a problem.

From Orlando here and I'm going to the game... my first LIVE Cowboys game since I lived in Jersey in 1985! Obviously I'm looking forward to the game and I'm hoping to see my 'Boys beat the Fins. The game SOLD OUT in 10 minutes on the FIRST day they went on sale... The Patriot & Jets games in Miami sold out soon after the Cowboys did!!!

We (my woman, and 5 other Cowboy fans) are all going down on Friday and leaving Monday, hopefully partying until early Monday morning. We are going to get to the stadium early (around Noon-1pm) so that we can tailgate. This will be my first time to that stadium and I've heard that just about anywhere you sit you'll have a good view. Our tickets (which cost $86 each at ticketmaster) are in section 412 (row 24) so get ready to hear some CRAZY Cowboys fans cheering on Sept 16 in Miami!!!

... But first come the Giants

GO COWBOYS!!!

Thanks! that was the info I was looking for.

For those looking for tickets: There are still some available through Ticketmaster. I found pairs in the upper deck and singles in the lower. Do not believe the hype that this game is "Sold Out". :laugh2:

Everyone from the site going to the game should meet and tailgate in force?

I went there with no tickets and it was real difficult to find tickets for sale in the parking lot. I eventuall did though.

Personally I advise you pay the money upfront and know you have the tickets.
