For example, rather than trading away our first round pick this year, we might do something like trade our 2nd this year and our first next year, and maybe our 3rd this year or next year to get Michael Huff. Then still get someone like Manny Lawson this year.
Thus solidifying our secondary and our linebacker corps this year.
The only reason why I bring this up is because if they're really trying to make an all out bid to win this year, I wouldn't put it past Jerry to do this.
We'd have the picture perfect defense. Don't know if we'd be giving up too much though. But I do know that the 32nd pick in the draft isn't worth that much more than a 2nd round draft pick =)
