Anyone else feel bad for Bledsoe in his PC

You guys will be crying out the other side of your mouth if Romo comes in and loses a game. Just let the team play and be still about Romo. Do you really want to start over with a rookie?

I have not seen Steeler fans boo Ben even though he has played worse than Bledsoe. I guess the grass is always greener with the backup QB.

Well, when your quarterback is coming off a championship season, a few bad games are usually nothing to boo over.

Apples and Oranges dude. Big Ben has his whole career in front of him. His best days are clearly yet to come. Drew Bledsoe is on the downside of his career.

I can't take it anymore, I've been coming here for so long now and this has got to be the worst thread ever. I understand we are all Cowboys fans and love the team. But seriously, understand the game of football. Understand that a pre-season superstar isn't the leader of a regular season team no matter who you are. Case in point: Matt Schaub. Understand that whatever Romo does, he will be favored because he hasn't dealt with what Bledsoe has the past two seasons. Understand that until Romo gets a shot, we can't call for him yet. Why? Because when he does...we have given up on the season. BELIEVE that.

All of this is untrue. I have no idea if Romo can do it. I just don't think Bledsoe can. No one knows how Romo compares to Bledsoe- the people who may are the coaching staff, because they see them in practice. But it has been readily admitted that Parcells believes in Romo. Payton was also in the guy's court. Lots of our staff like Romo.

The point is that we just don't believe in Bledsoe. We think that him starting is ruining our season.

I was at the game today and the fans were embarrasing with their poorly informed boos on passes that weren't Bledsoe's fault.

He played a good game and should get credit for it.

You never boo a player wearing your uniform. I couldn't hear the television today, I was at a sports bar that was carrying the sound to the Carolina game.

But he didn't play a good game. Go watch it again. He was average, not good. He didn't kill us. That's as good as he played.

Fans pay money which goes to the Owners which goes top the players, partially. The fans reserve ther right to Boo whoever they want , when they want. Bledsoe's mindboggling plays deserve booing lots and lots of booing.

In that case they should just create a voting system where fans can just vote for who they want to see.

oo..oo - maybe we can get a system where the fans choose the plays too!

It's being a poor fan of the team. That's my opinion, feel free to disagree. But your paying for tickets doesn't give you the right to do whatever you want.

Edit: hey - philly fans help pay for their stadium. I think it's OK for them to litter it with batteries when they want to.

Difference between throwing batteries and booing.

I hate to hear the boos and think it is pretty classless in some cases...but they actually do have a right to do that if they wish. It is not against the law.

I understand the difference. I understand also, that they have the right to do so. My point is that a right doesn't create an ought.

That's just ridiculous Joe Fan logic. If you pay for a ticket, you can boo and cheer whoever you want.

A fan's loyalty is with a team, not a player - Bob Dole doesn't care about hurting Drew Bledsoe's feelings, Bob Dole only cares about what is best for the team - if Bledsoe is stinking it up, he deserves to hear about it.

How else should the fans voice their displeasure? By not showing up? Yeah, Jerry would love that.

Maybe after Bledsoe's next INT, everyone should just go, "AW SHUCKS DREW, MAYBE NEXT TIME PAL."

The coaching staff is trying to win. PERIOD. No...sit hard and think about this....

Wouldn't the coaches who "know best" put Romo in if they think he gives them the best chance to win? I think so. Let us all leave the decision making to the guys who get paid to do it. Not the couch commandos.

No. I think Parcells history has shown that he has a serious issue in understanding effective offensive philosophy, especially at the QB position. The best QB he ever had (Simms) he had more confrontation with than anyone.

what does that prove? Absolutely nothing. I think, you think...it doesn't mean anything. Parcells is paid to make decisions. Are you? Who says he has a "serious" issue? I would think if it were that "serious" he wouldn't have the jobs that he gets.

Well look at you!

If I didn't want to abuse you first I'd ban you out the shear joy of doing so.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeere we go. "We as fans should sit back and let the experts do their jobs, because they know everything."

I don't think Bledsoe can do it for us, and his history supports my theory. Go me. Parcells thinks he is better. Go him. Let's see how many superbowls we win with Bledsoe.

Art Shell gets paid to do his job too.

If you were a Raiders fan, would that give you any faith in his ability to lead your team to anything but the cellar?

Let's just support the team for right now. Trust me...I wanted to kill the guy last week. I cooled down though. There is more to football than the QB position (although Dallas sometimes doesn't think that). We just won a game, 34-6. T.O. snagged 3 TD passes. Drew didn't throw an interception. One game at a time. But nice talking to you Crown.
