"The Catch" in GB really still stings... and pisses me off still. We should have went further that year, it would have been so magical.

It's been meh for me ever since.
didn't we make it to that game with a bad call against Detroit. we probably shouldn't have been there.

I’m 65 and haven’t missed a game in over 54 years. I’ve never understood needing to believe in something to follow and support it?

I have little if any hope in this team or the Cowboys in this puppet era with Jerry.

But they’re my local team and the regional broadcasted game so I’ll continue to watch and cheer them on regardless how dysfunctional or hopeless we are.

I'm not saying I don't support the team. I'm not in the local broadcast area so I have to put out extra effort to see the games. But I watch them all. But I'm losing passion for the team.

if you're not local like me and gregg, you are nobody. We named our kids Dallas, and Cowboy. Our dogs are name Howley and White. We married women with the last name landry. You pretend fans make us sick. Heck gregg didn't even wear a shirt in the ice bowl, just a pair of boxers and Cowboy boots. Me, I just wore a big Texas tombstone belt buckle. My friends use to call me buckle.

The NFL has gotten out of control. I don't know what to think about the Cowboys anymore. I feel almost no emotion of any kind when i watch the Cowboys games and i even fell asleep during one of them. I guess all of that is the sum of just being bored with the NFL. I feel more excitement about the NBA preseason then i do about the NFL regular season and that's just insane but i think it's the NFL's fault that i feel this way.

I got a good chuckle out of this post . I actually grew up in Garland but joined the military and haven't made it back since. So I was born a Cowboy fan!

It's hard to stay excited about their game play with the way the FO and HC manage the team. I hope the players pull it out despite the inept leadership. The NFL is becoming a flag football league.
