A friend of mine who is a big Eagles fan has 4 free tickets to the Eagles/Boys game on 10/8. His brother-in-law is a big wig for some company in Philly and is giving them to him, so he asked me to go. Every year i could go, but i've always heard the stories of how the fans are and i don't feel like getting in a fight with some obnoxious fans. They are on the 35 yard line 12 rows up. I think i'm finally going to do it. Is anyone else going that i could maybe meet up with and tailgate?

Go with friends and you will be fine. Just don't confront them if someone does something to you. Find out who it was and go report them and they will be kicked out of the game.

In the 95 Championship game I got in a fight with a cheese head and let me tell you it is not worth the trouble it brings. It did make for a peaceful rest of the game for the people that were sitting around me. After taking care of the guts of the bunch the others didn't want any trouble.

I was kindly escorted out and got to talk to the cops :)

Problem is your in Philly and your best defense is to ignore and report. Fighting or throwing things is not tolerated and they will be ejected from the game.

dude....just good luck!

and whatever you do...don't wear anything 'cowboys' you actually want to see again.

seriously.

in fact...i wouldn't recommend wearing anything cowboys at all.

but somewhere in the mid 4th quarter, when all the boo birds are starting to go home disappointed....you're gonna have one hell of a smile on your face.

The stories are overblown!!! Since the new stadium had been open, it is much tamer than the vet. I wear Cowboys shirts to the game and get heckled. If you are in the lower level you will be fine. It is mostly the drunks all the way at the top. Actually, this year we have more Cowboy fans going to this game than ever!!

Yeah thats what i was thinking since the Vet is closed that the Linc would be much better. I forgot to mention that the stories i heard were from the old 700 level. I can take the heckling, i just don't feel like getting hit from behind with things because i will not be able to take it and will go after someone.

I have to disagree with you man. I went to the Cowboys/Eagles game last year at the Linc.

We were in the box seats section and it was bad. I wore my Roy jersey under my sweatshirt becuase I did not want to start anything but two guys in front of me wore Emmitt and Irvin jerseys. Two guys in front of them and one guy on his right were kicked out of the game. Becuase they were starting so much crap.

Beer and food was thrown on these guys and they left at halftime and I didn't see them the rest of the game.

Even though it might be a little tamed down now that the Linc is opened it is still THE worst place to be if you are a Cowboys fan. All it is is gealousy though, we have something they dont. Actually we have five of those somethings that they dont.

This has nothing to do with the Philly game, but I am so excited in the fact that I am going to my first Dallas Cowboys game ever!! I will be there when they kick off on opening day against the Jaguars and I can't wait.

The stories are OVERBLOWN....but, I'd seriously not wear any Dallas stuff to the Linc. The Eagles fans are going to be more jacked for that game than any game of the year....The very sight of a Dallas fan, and especially any with a TO jersey, will make them sick to their stomach.

i appreciate you trying to pump up your business, but overblown my butt.

and the hype/hatred factor for this game will be extra crazy, as evidenced by all the anti-T.O. apparell being sold here two months before the game is even played.

if you're looking to have an enjoyable experience watching a football game, don't go to philly.

you should have seen the berating that dallas fans got at the desperados game. and that was freakin arena football!

I will be there and I will also be tailgating. The stories are true. I have a very true story to tell about a buddy who was a Dallas fan that got mauled walking through the parking lot. He ended up with box seats though.

I really wanted to go to the game, but getting tickets by phone was impossible. They are selling on EBay for $600/ticket. I paid $350 per ticket for the game last year, but I have my limits. :)
