I was listening to the ticket yesterday and during the Cowboys segment on the Hardline Corby started going off on Cowboy fans who criticized Romo after Sundays loss. The problem i had was he was pissed at fans expressing their frustration after it was clear Romo had one of his worst games ever, he made every excuse in the book when defending Romo and said the Hatcher penalty was just as big as Romo's interceptions. I disagree because i felt the D shouldn't have been on the field and it was Romo's mistake that cost the Cowboys the game. Mike & Danny followed suit and blamed everyone except Romo and it showed they have no idea what they're talking about.

i think too many fans blame romo for the loss. there is plenty of blame to go around. that was his point. when was the last time the team picked romo up and won the game for him and not vice versa?

Eh those guys have been Romo apologists for years now. They do hate on Jerry though

Agree and for the record I said he had a bad game in a big game so I am not excusing him but Romo was part of the problem in that game when he was virtually the only solution the entire season.

Defense not supposed to be on the field is not a valid explanation for hatchers moronic penalty. Nice try though.

Corby Davidson is, to use an old expression, a twerp.

FYI - I think a large number of members here live outside of DFW and have never listened to the Ticket.

I am a big Romo supporter, but he screwed the pooch. 3 minutes left, down by 3 with the chance to engineer a game winning drive, and he threw a pick on a dump off.

That is what I'm thinking one fan was so furious at Romo, that he took his Romo jersey tied it to his washing machine and blew it up literally that goes to show how miserable some people can be.

yeah, oldest trick in deflecting blame......look at this hand and not the other hand, muddy the waters so as not to get a clear picture of what you see...

Romo had the opportunity of his life, drive the Cowboys for the winning TD during the final couple minutes and get the monkey, which is now a gorilla, off his back. Instead he did what he has done before, thrown a crucial interception and made another of his patented game killing bone-headed plays. Sure it doesn't excuse Hatcher for his costly penalty, but to say that was worse is only magnifying covering up for another Romo screwup.

Just the fact more talk was about that interception rather than the Hatcher penalty tells you that the consensus was Romo's was worse. No one is saying Hatcher choked.

Not excusing Hatcher for his penalty although i still believe getting blocked low caused his hands to come down, but the fact is Romo is the #1 reason why this team lost Sunday. We talk about not giving Romo credit for the wins, yet i've heard plenty of radio analyst give him too much credit on his tds. I mean when Romo extends a play all credit should go to him, but after the ball leaves his hands and the recievers catch it that's when they should get credit for the YAC.

Quoting wrestling makes you cool in my book, but Miz?:laugh2:

It is called entertainment if you look at it as anything else you are deluding yourself.

Korby actually went to high school with my sister. Of all the shows in DFW they do not bag on people, or make stuff up, rumors I mean. They just evaluate the game with what there eyes see.

Romo screwed up, yes, but he is the ONLY reason we were fighting for the East as well. He also got us within distance to have that comeback with the play to Tree and 2 point conversion to Harris.

You forget Harris and that great punt return that got the team in scoring distance, that's my problem you said Romo was the only reason but what about Dez & Harris? If we can't just blame Romo for the loss why is it ok to give him all the credit for the wins?

Dez and Harris are my two favorite players outside of Romo/Lee/Carter. I think they are studs. My point is without Romo all year we would be sitting here talking about getting the 3-4th player in the draft.

Well some of the Romo criticism can be kind of ridiculous. I heard a guy call in and say he wish Romo was in the car with Josh Brent. It is tough to listen too. I imagine those guys are just fed up with it.

So you want to give others credit for us going on that win streak we had but when it comes to Sunday Night you want to give Romo full blame? Despite the defense giving up 260 yards on the ground?

I just don't see why people can't talk about the reality.....Romo is the only QB we have that can survive behind that line and he got us to where we were BUT he also screws up and loses big games. In Romo's case you can have it both ways and that is why he is frustrating. Went to TCU with Corby and like the guy a lot, but I'm not sure why they are so defensive or why others are so negative. Romo is just a split personality guy....and that was post 666...hmmm.
