Anyone else HATE the new FOX score box setup?

It is driving me insane. And the angrier I get, the more I notice it. I honestly hope they get rid of it, or else I will just never have the volume turned up on a Fox broadcasted game.

i so miss the days when the nfc was on cbs with summerall and madden.

yea, i see it's covered now but it's pretty lame.

oh holy hell, i just used the world lame. sorry guys.

My illusions of Iceberg have all been shattered.

I think the dots suck also. After a few beers there will be dots all over the freakin' screen.

I'm not a big fan of the four microscopic dots that indicates the current quarter.

Yeah, and how where we suppose to know that????

Good question. Did anyone else hear Troy ask Joe Buck "what quarter is this" last night right before the end of the 1st?

If you arent within 3 feet of the TV you cant see the freaking score, and they dont even post the quarter

I would rather they not put anything on the screen except for the game. They should leave all that peripheral crap out completely, just like the good old days. If those watching the game on TV don't know the quarter and the score, then they shouldn't be watching anyways.

If they have to put stuff like this on the screen, they should go retro back to 1994-1995, when all they had was a clear box in the corner of the screen with white letters.

Just my 2 cents.

Troy was hilarious last night. He also said, "this game reminds you of how insignificant preseason really is."

I am sure that the producer was screaming in Joe Buck's headphones immediately after that comment, as Buck quickly came to rectify the situation with a comment like, "But Troy, you would still watch this game."

And Troy was like "oh yeah, sure." :laugh2:
