Anyone else have DirecTV and dont have access to Fox?

Okay I'm right here in B'ville and also have directv and just checked the channel guide. It says the game is on Fox (channel 23) is that not the case?

It also shows the game on NFL Sunday Ticket (712).


How do you know it won't be on Fox? Did you get a notice? Just trying to figure out if I'm going to be missing the game too.

Yes and there's a message that the channel has been removed from the lineup. And I have Sunday ticket and the game has been blacked out. Really not happy at the moment

Directv has failed to renew their contract with Fox in my area (Tulsa, OK) and I dont have access to the game!

It's strange. I can't get local channels on my downstairs. But I can on my upstairs (HD) set and the one in my room (which is not HD). Don't understand.

You need a digital over the air antenna. No Internet or cable or satellite needed

If they are on same antennae , then it is a setting on your tv or connection.
hook it direct to ant and see if you get local over the air.

I ended up calling and complaining and they eventually gave me Sunday ticket for the day so I could watch it on the game mix channel by 12:15. I was not a happy camper....was on the phone an hour with them and was nearly to Buffalo Wild WIngs so I could see it, but they wouldve only had the split screen game mix channel as well.

I guess Dish Network subscribers in the area dont have cbs....

sunday ticket blacks out the game on the ticket when it is in being carried by the local affiliate. surprised this worked at all for you

Same thing in NW Washington, we've lost the CBS affiliate. Sunday ticket has blocked games too..
