Anyone else not worried about the TE position?

I know all the analysts were saying we had to have a TE but the starter is already on the roster, Ferguson. The guy is going to have a huge year.

Add in Hendershot as the back up I think they are in good shape. Glad they did not waste a first round pick for a TE.

I don’t see it as a big enough problem to invest a premium draft pick on the position… unless Mayer falls all the way to the 3rd I’d just keep looking at investing in the trenches on both sides

Yes, if they can add to that group, that is a nice to have, I definitely didn't see it as a top need. I thought G/T and DT and another CB were the top needs. TE/WR/RB can come later.

Yes, tight end, running back and guard. We are probably worse at all three than we were last year. We didn’t lose any difference makers (with exception of Pollard if he is not the same next year). But we need to replace the guys last year and improve there. Difficult to expect first year players to step in immediately as we get later in the draft.

For a team that wants to put up big numbers on offense they really got to hit a few of these positions today.

No because only one has been off the board.

Plenty of really good TE and RB left.

i'm happy with ferguson and hendershot.
wouldn't hate getting another good one but ferguson looks like he's gonna be a good'n.
i'm still shocked we took a dt in rd1.

The sports media always obsesses over players you lose in FA, I swear 1/2 of them don't watch many games. Dallas has 2 serviceable TEs, who should take a step forward in their 2nd seasons. I really didn't want them to draft a 6 3' TE at 26.

They have 2 guys who should step up this year. They can wait till round 3 or 4 for a te.

none of the TE's(Ferguson, Hendershot, McKeon) on this rosters are special, serviceable but not game changers, in today's NFL, teams like Dallas needs a dynamic TE to stretch the field and open up this offense, and the TE they draft today will be starting over any that's on the roster.

Nope, not worried at all. I thought DT and G were/are much bigger problems for us. I honestly hope they go for a guard in the 2nd round before anything else. After that, they can draft whoever for the rest of the weekend

I could see a run early on for TE. But think they can still grab a good one today.

I’m not worried about TE but not against upgrading the position either. I was on the grab a TE early train if you could get a plug and play upgrade early on. Odds of that happening as the draft goes on goes down significantly.

There are a lot of good tight ends still available in this draft.

Not stressing it

I’m not. And apparently the Cowboys aren’t either. People overrated what they thought about the tight end position.

TE is like the 3rd most important position i want them addressing today. We have 4 on the roster 2 of which i believe to be pretty decent or at least equivelant to what we had.I would love to see Steve Avilia on this roster or Torrence for that matter. If we feel the need to target a TE it wont anger me now as much as it would have yesterday. Darnall Washington is intriguing but the Philidelphia Bulldogs may end up with him. We need a speedy playmaker whether that be RB or WR also.
