Anyone else see Wade ask Garrett if we should

Go for 1 on the sidelines? It happened on the 4th down play near the goal line late in the game. It was the 4th down play where lots of people, Jaworski included, said we should have kicked the field goal. He looked at Garrett, raised 1 finger and asked "1?" Garrett noded as to say yes.
My only guess is that he was asking if we should go for 1 if we scored the touchdown
Not piling on Wade here as much as I'm wondering how much control Garrett already has. Haven't seen it discussed here and was wondering if anyone else noticed it and if it had been discussed.

It's already well established that Wade has no involvement with the offense.

He's already gone by the end of the season anyway, why worry.

Well it's a big indicator in my eyes as to how much control Garrett already has and as to whether he should be kept. Wade asked this before we scored and I've never heard of a coach asking a coordinator is we are going for 1 or 2 on an extra point. The coach usually makes the decision to go for 1 or 2 or whether to go for it on 4th down or punt. It looks as though Garrett is already making some of these decisions.

Soon you'll c wade ask garrett about the defensive sets/allignments as well since its garrett running the entire show the rest of the season....

I saw what you are talking about and I took it differently. I took it as Wade INSTRUCTING Garrett as to what they were going to do if they scored, not asking.

That's the way I saw it too.

I just keep telling myself that it will all be over with soon.

Either way, I don't think it matters.

Wade is in charge so he can decide what to do. If he was asking for JG's opinion, that is just fine. No point in having advisors on your staff if you don't ask them for their opinion from time to time.

Ok maybe that's the case. It just looked to me as if he has asking vs telling.

It wasn't on the extra point it was when we were going for it on 4th down. I dunno, personally I took it as him asking Garrett why are we going for it, we will be down 2 scores with FG. Dont remember the exact score but thought it was strange not to kick the FG.

They are both dumb. They both didn't know to kick the FG and both agreed to go for 2 points insteand of kicking the extra point and making it an 11 point game in case they didn't get the 2 point conversion...

And let's not forget that the Defensive Guru didn't even know the Giants best WR was on the field earlier in the game.

Looking at that video clip, clearly Garrett was making the call without Wade's involvment. All Wade did was look at Garrett with thet look of bewilderment of his. In Fact, Wade did that llok-down-head-shake that he does as he next play was called. You could tell he disagreed with the call but did nothing to save Garrett from himself. He just shook his head and let the play he knew would fail go on. Never have I seen a head coach so out of touch and out of command with the situation on the fileld in a critical moment of the game. And the look on Garret's face was one of detemination to get as many points as stubbournly possible, also showing no clue as to the significance of the moment.

People still fail to realize that we don't have a head coach. We have Wade who runs the defense and that red headed con artist who runs the offense. The closest thing we have to a head coach is Jerry. Jerry the GM and Jerry the Head Coach need to go if we're ever going to turn this organization back into a consistent winner. Haven't had it since Jimmy. It really sickens me honestly.

Saw all of that off a television screen at good distance as well. You guys are GOOD....:)

He wasn't saying lets go for two.

He was relaying which extra value meal he was going to order after the game.

And I do believe that #2 is the twin cheeseburger meal.

And the way Garrett nods his head like he is so smart. Doesn’t even make eye contact with Wade. If you read body language you can tell the carrot top is calling the shots.

Wade clearly looks at Garrett, he says something to Garrett, there is a second or two of a pause, then Garrett nods in the affirmative.

Looks to me like Red Ball is the guy making the decisions here. And some of yall want to make him the Head Coach.........WOW.
