Connor McGovern > Daryl Johnston
Love what we’re doing with Ell-Ard. Keep thinking how tough it is for RBs to stay healthy all season. Would like to see another back change the pace even more. Anyone on the roster who could come in and add a third dimension to this backfield?
Zeke had some sick jump cuts today. I wanted him to take that 47 yarder to the house, but you could tell he ran out of gas after about 35 yards. Its far and away his #1 trait. The guy is a beast. Really glad to see him get in shape finally so he can best utilize that toughness. He isnt motioning to come out anymore down by the GL.

yeah sure i will take a brandon jacobs type rb just for some thing else to let kellen mess with
The more back touching the better!
I agree with you that rookie Zeke takes that all the way, but at least he still has the ability to get long runs, just not the same type of HRs he had early in his career. Zeke and Pollard are a really good 1-2 combo though. Zeke almost never loses yards, while Pollard seems like he's going to break one every time he gets past the line of scrimmage.Yes, he still has a nasty jump cut.

This thread is ridiculous.
Zeke just put up 140+ yards on just 20 carries.
TP had 69 on 10 carries.
Dak added 35.
The run game is the least of the team's concerns.
i would reread the first post. There is no problem with our running game - it’s great right now. But we don’t have a third back getting any playing time. Should Pollard or Zeke go down we lose that change of pace dimension we’re currently enjoying.
We are FINALLY....planning a running game. he doesn;t have to raise his hand anymore. People don't understand we never had a plan...we made zeke tell us when to sub instead of planning it.Its far and away his #1 trait. The guy is a beast. NOpe not al all you cross that bridge when it comes..is zeke or pollard injury's prone?? not the last time i checked...i would reread the first post. to be really safe give some backup OL some carries for just in case if you have an emergency.I believe in a 4 or even 5 running back committee. Keeps everybody safe. It's smart.

Right. My pappy told me long ago, son, don’t fix what ain’t broke.NO!
We're doing fine.....why change what works? Unless you are stupid.
