Anyone else thinking we need another back getting touches?

Love what we’re doing with Ell-Ard. Keep thinking how tough it is for RBs to stay healthy all season. Would like to see another back change the pace even more. Anyone on the roster who could come in and add a third dimension to this backfield?

Joe Judge, is that you? ;)

When Zeke broke free on the long run it put to bed any foolish thought that he regained his speed. Rookie Zeke scores there. He's never going to be that guy again. He's got plenty of other skills though that keeps him among the better RBs in the league.

Its far and away his #1 trait. The guy is a beast. Really glad to see him get in shape finally so he can best utilize that toughness. He isnt motioning to come out anymore down by the GL.
Zeke had some sick jump cuts today. I wanted him to take that 47 yarder to the house, but you could tell he ran out of gas after about 35 yards.

yeah sure i will take a brandon jacobs type rb just for some thing else to let kellen mess with

exactly what I was thinking was a guy like Jacobs or the RB the Pats had a couple of seasons ago that was a big bruiser.

Yes, he still has a nasty jump cut.
I agree with you that rookie Zeke takes that all the way, but at least he still has the ability to get long runs, just not the same type of HRs he had early in his career. Zeke and Pollard are a really good 1-2 combo though. Zeke almost never loses yards, while Pollard seems like he's going to break one every time he gets past the line of scrimmage.

please get your face out of the paper huff bag. Answer no..no and no..;)

This thread is ridiculous.

Zeke just put up 140+ yards on just 20 carries.

TP had 69 on 10 carries.

Dak added 35.

The run game is the least of the team's concerns.

i would reread the first post. There is no problem with our running game - it’s great right now. But we don’t have a third back getting any playing time. Should Pollard or Zeke go down we lose that change of pace dimension we’re currently enjoying.

Again, this is not a problem.

TP only had 10 carries today.

Have faith in KM to adjust in game, if either Zeke or TP cannot go.

Figure out replacement options AFTER the game.

We are FINALLY....planning a running game. he doesn;t have to raise his hand anymore. People don't understand we never had a plan...we made zeke tell us when to sub instead of planning it.

NOW....we have an awesome game plan that also accounts for in game changes.

NO!

We're doing fine.....why change what works? Unless you are stupid.
