Am I the only one worried about J.J Watt, taking him out for the season? I mean I am not trying to be negative by any means, but they were talking about Romo on sunday, and said that Tony said himself that if he were to get hit in the process of a throw, it would really hurt him. Watt is arguably the best defensive player in the league, I for one hope nothing happens, but I cant say im not worried

Didn't you start a thread like this a couple of weeks ago? Is this going to be a weekly occurance?

No more concerned for Romo than any other game, Continue to run and keep themselves in favorable down and distance I think Cowboys will be able to do pretty much whatever they want

Can't play scared...just go and play your game.
just like people think Murray will get injured, limit his carries. Can't do that, keep going the way they are. Maybe put in Randle & Dunbar a bit more, but don't limit Murray either, if it doesn't work out that way.

No more so than I would be for any other NFL game where he might get jacked and hurt. It could happen on any play of any game.

Can't wait to see JJ and Smith go at it some. Should be fun to watch when and if he lines up on that side.

I heard a radio interview with Romeo & he said they won't change a thing for JJ this week. Which means he will be all over the place.

No I am no more worried than I would be in any other game. This watt hysteria is out of control

I agree 100%. Some on here apparently think Watt is the best defensve lineman to ever play the game. There's no doubt Watt is very good. Probably the best defensive lineman playing today. But, let's hold on before he's crowned the "best ever". He isn't Joe Greene, Randy White, Reggie White, Bob Lilly, or even Chales Haley yet. He might end up being the best DL to ever play the game, but that's a conversation for 7-8 years down the road. The same argument should be made for Tyron Smith. He's probably the best OT playing today (at least in the top 3), but let's not compare him to other great linemen of the past like Munoz, Hannah, Larry Allen, or Matthews just yet. While on this topic, I'll always believe had he not been involved in the car accident, Erik Williams would've gone down as the most dominant offensive lineman to ever play the game. He played with such intensity and nastiness that defensive linemen hated to be in front of him. Too bad he and LA never played together when both were in their prime (before William's injury and after LA became so dominant). What a combination!!!!

Anyone can injure Romo.

Before 2010, who worried about Michael Boley injuring Romo?

Any defensive player can take out Romo if the shot is right. IIRC, Brett Favre didn't miss his first game until he was hit by a relative no name.

Watt is the better overall player, but Robert Quinn was considered my many to be the best pass rusher in the league starting the season.
He did Romo no harm. In fact we barely heard his name all game.

I'm pretty sure JJ so far is having a much better year than Quinn. I'm sure correction will come if I am wrong.

I think of this as in "is anyone worried what might happen to Watt once Ty gets a hold of him? Make him defend the run and get pounded a little...."
