Anyone else worried about this steroid stuff?

I'm not too worried. I don't think much will happen. If it does blow up for one team, then I think it will blow up for the whole league.

Just a side thought, I have always thought that Dat Nguyen was a potential steroid user.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little worried. Now I have no doubt that other teams are using too.

But I'd be lying if I said I never wondered if MB3 was juicing.

Just a little bit concerned, but I'm not going to worried about it until I see Cowboys name being mentioned.

STEROIDS DISTRIBUTOR SNITCHES ON COWBOYS

The Dallas Morning News reports that the man who pleaded guilty on Tuesday to possession of steroids with intent to distribute has provided to federal investigators the names of former -- and current -- members of the Dallas Cowboys to whom he provided steroids.

David Jacobs, 35, pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate with prosecutors in identifying the persons to whom steroids were distributed.

It's an unusual move; usually, prosecutors start with the folks on the bottom of the operation and work upstream. In this case, however, the high profile of Jacobs' customers is prompting authorities to move in the other direction. Celebrities and other well-known people make for desirable targets of such prosecutions because the chilling effect is much more pronounced, due to the media coverage of the situation.

The names of the players in question have not yet been released publicly.

I'm a little worried but hopeful it turns out to much ado about nothing. I just hope this guy is nothing more then someone who got in trouble and hopes he can get out of it by identifying a Cowboy he might have met. He probably embroidering anything he can but talk is not enough.

Every team in the league has players on steroids, it's just a matter of who gets caught.

In this case, I don't see how a player is going to get charged with a crime or suspended by the league based only on the testimony of a felon who is getting a plea deal, if there is no other evidence. If the player didn't fail a test and he denies it happened and there is no other evidence I don't think anything will be done about it.

Absent of a failed drug test or a money trail, there isn't much anyone can do. It seems this mostly centers around Matt Lehr but several reports do reference current players which has to concern everyone. Hopefully, whoever it is has cleaned up their act and with no concrete proof, nothing will happen.

Sounds like a guy trying to sell steroids and using the cowboys brand. If he names players I question if they are truly involved or is he trying to reduce his plea.

I'm not, but I'm sure Classless Skip Bayless is licking his chops to anoint the Cowboys the "Roidboys"

Untill proven guilty I wont be worried. And if it is a current cowboy I hope it's a no name.

i have a hunch its greg ellis if it is true

alot of guys in the league use it for injury rehab

I hope they don't nail multiple Cowboys, that would taint what we are doing some. Our qb coach already suspended for chewing HGH'S.

What's to be worried about? Only about 90% of the NFL is juicing.

Why do people think most of the NFL uses banned substances?

Depends on who was taking them. AND what they were. Only a money trail or a drug test will force a suspension. It also depends on what it was - it has to be on the banned list for it to count. There are some things out there illegal that are NOT on the NFL banned list.
