I live in SD and I'll be attending my first ever Cowboys game on Sunday... by myself.

Even though I live in San Diego, all my close friends are either Raider fans or fans of some other team that isn't the Chargers. None of them felt like paying over $100 to watch two teams they don't care for, and I don't blame them.

I was wondering if anyone else has ever had the experience of going alone. Was it weird? If it was a road game, did you get heckled? Just wanna know what I can expect.

40% DC fans will fill the stadium, you will be fine.... I'm thinking of going also.. I went to the Raiders game once alone & took the Bart back also...it was cool.

The last time I went to a Cowboys game in SD there was a 50/50 split in the stands.

Hopefully you can find some cowboys fans sitting near you and befriend them.

I agree with this. Shouldn't be too hard considering San Diego has a large Cowboys fanbase. Also nobody gives a hoot if you go by yourself. Everybody will be focused on the game instead.

Yeah, San Diego is mellow compared to Philly.

ANY other place is mellow compared to Philly. I used to go to the games when the Boys came into town. Not anymore...I've had enough beer poured on me to know better. Ridiculous.

Wow... that's just sad. Nobody should spend 100+ dollars just to have beer poured on them. Unless it's a stone cold steve austin match.

I watched a game "alone" at Candlestick in the late 90s. It was a stroke of luck that a business trip landed in San Fran on the same weekend as a Cowboys game so I bought a single ticket and trekked on out there,,, lots of fun and the crowd around me was amiable enough, quite friendly actually.

There are lots of Cowboys fans in California. I am sure that thousands will attend the Cowboys-Chargers game.

I actually prefer going to and watching Cowboys game alone. It's too intense of an experience for me to be around others. Any other game/sport/team and I love kicking back with buddies enjoying a game. But not my Cowboys. Exception: when i am in NYC I go to the Manhattan Cowboys bar to watch the games

My firm just had a retreat in SD. I am cooked it wasn't this weekend as I would have gone to game.

I went to MNF game in Seattle myself and have been to hockey games myself. No biggie,

Back in the 90s, I was driving home on a Monday afternoon from my parents in NJ back to Boston and it hit me that Dallas was playing the Giants at the Meadowlands. I quickly pulled off the NJTurnpike and pulled into the lot. I was wandering around, talking to some Cowboys fans when I ran into some friends from school. They were tailgating AND had an extra ticket. They were big time NY fans and were quite upset when Dallas beat them 35-0. Emmitt had 4 TDs and the Meadowlands was like a funeral parlor. It was a great night even though I got back to Boston around 4am.

San Diego's stadium is usually filled with Cowboys fans... Southern Cal is loaded with Cowboys fans so you'll be fine.

If someone poured beer on me things would not end well.. It's just a GAME.

I guess some people just have some growing up to do.
