Anyone ever think the Giants are just the best team in league

If we played like we did against the Giants in our other four losses we would be 5-1. Why? Not many penalties, we got turnovers and won the special team battle. The Giants just might be the best team in football right now. They're balanced as can be and what do you take away? Smith will kill you like Wes Welker if you don't pay attention to him. Nicks is a top 5 wr. Bradshaw is playing like Brian Westbrook in his prime. They're oline is good. On defense they have pass rushers from everywhere. Their corners and lb's are ok. Balanced.
This is also the one team we can never stop. Let's take it one game at a time from here on out. Even with John Kitna.

Our offense couldnt run the ball at all. We had way to many 3 and outs. We had a short field and could capitalize.

The giants are great on the offensive line. Thats it.

Bradshaw, smith, blah blah blah. They are average NFL players at best. But having a great offensive line against an over match defense shows you the power of a great offensive line. They ripped us apart.

i don't know about best team in the league, but they are playing well.

center of their surge is eli manning, and their o-line. problem with eli is that he can be inconsistent. i think the g-men are going to have a good season, but only 16 games annoint "best in league"

trouble is that this will win you some games, and in the age of parity, it may win you lots of games. means you can run the ball.

A couple point swing, the elimination of a few costly penalties and we're a team sitting 6-0 with everything saying we're the best team in the league, let alone the NFC.

Despite a 1-5 record we've never been beat by more than 7 points yet.

We're 1 - 5, and 4th from last in the LEAGUE. Just above the Lions, 49ers and Bills. That's the company we're with.

As much as I hate to say it, the Giants are very good. You can't deny that we won the turnover battle, won the special teams battle, and still lost. I don't care that the defense deflated when Romo went out. Not doing that is part of being a good team.

Even before Romo went out we had already let them claw their way back into a game where we could've put them away EARLY.

They are very good. We didn't beat ourselves against them, they beat us plain and simple.

Best team in the NFC, right now probably

Not sure about best team in the NFL. They've had a nice run here for 3-4 weeks, but their first few games they looked like crap too.

I think they are top of the NFC right now. But AFC has some stout teams, NE, NYJ, BAT, PITT.

I would not bet against them, but its still a 10 game season and anything can happen, well except for the Cowboys :bang2:.

Now that I have said that, watch them go on a tear and go 8-2 the rest of the way.

I think they are definitely one of the best teams at least in the NFC right now, we'll see how that plays out as the year goes on. They started off hot last year and faded down the stretch.

As much as I would like to, I can't ever seem to hate the Giants like I do the other NFC east teams. They just play football like it should be played. Tough, physical, run the ball and pressure the QB... you do those things and you are going to win some games.

Was anybody saying this when Indy crushed them, when Tennessee beat them, or when we were up 20-7 (should have been by more if Miles doesn't drop a TD)? They're good, but very beatable. We collapsed/deflated whe Romo went down. I am confident we win that game if he doesn't get hurt. Unfortunately, we're done and nobody else in the NFC is impressive so maybe they're the best in the conference now. Who knows? As far as Sheli's picks stopping them at some point, I wouldn't hold my breath. He led the NFL in turnovers in '07 and every star in the universe aligned for them. Starting from Crayton's drop, to 2 dropped INTs by NE on their winning drive, to Tyree's miracle catch of a duck. Things just seem to work out for them. How sad it will be to watch another ok, but not great team win the SB as we sit at home stewing about our talented, poorly coached, mess of a team. Yeah, I'm bitter.

Its a shame that there has to be a best team in the NFC. The entire conference is rather putrid. The Giants gifted us 20 points and let up big time in the 4th quarter. That kind of junk rules them out of being the best team in the league.

dude...Giants fans would say the same thing or worse about most of our players, including Romo, who none of them would want over Eli...

...the Giants are better for at least two reasons...offensive line and defensive line...Nicks, Smith and Manningham or legitimate receiving threats for Manning...Bradshaw is anything but an average running back...Jacobs probably but not Bradshaw...
