Anyone ever think the Giants are just the best team in league

Best team in the league at the moment? This board is going to really hate this. But the Giants do seem like world beaters at the moment. Throw in the Steelers as well, and it could very well be the Superbowl this year. Yeah it's tough luck, but we do need to fix a lot of things in the offseason to improve our situation.

A couple point swing, the elimination of a few costly penalties and we're a team sitting 6-0 with everything saying we're the best team in the league, let alone the NFC.

Despite a 1-5 record we've never been beat by more than 7 points yet.
I agree...except the Gints beat us by like 18. Garbage time touchdowns are just that.

Well the Titans did beat them and they beat them pretty good too. I think that game was at New York as well.

The Giants are not the best team in the league. Jets, Ravens, Steelers, Titans, Patriots, Dolphins, Falcons, Saints...

Dolphins?

I do not put them as the best team in the NFC right now forget about league.

Honestly, they should have beaten the Cowboys by at least 24.

They turn the ball over wayyyy too much. Bradshaw and Jacobs both have fumbling problems.

Special teams have question marks.

Their is a lapse in concentration at times on both sides of the ball.

Eli has had a lot of tipped passes intercepted but he even admitted that even those were physical mistakes because they were overthrown or thrown behind the receiver.

There are a lot of flaws on the Giants. Thankfully, they have time to correct them before the word playoff is even discussed. The question is, will they?

One thing I did laugh at was the person who called Bradshaw and Smith average at best. Really? Really?

Yes, really.

Did Romo getting hurt have anything to do with the Giants' offense putting up 41 points and over 500 yards of offense?

The fact the Giants turned the ball over 5 times means they could have scored 60 or more if they didn't.

My point in saying that they should have won by 24 is that an elite team would have won by that many considering the numbers that were put up. The Giants let the Cowboys stay in that game and if they were the best team in the league or even the NFC, they wouldn't have allowed that to happen.

Anyone ever think the Cowboys just suck? Good teams don't have letdowns, good teams don't play the "What if" game. We just suck! Deal with it

If Romo didn't hurt the Giants would of LOST :laugh1: . The defense folded when Kitna went 3 and out 1402394124 times in a row until the 4th quarter. They were gassed. It's not hard to see. SO uh Yeah, ROMO getting hurt did matter in almost all aspects of the game. Both mentally and physically.

There is no way you can say whether or not the Cowboys would have won.

I mean, based on your logic, why were the Cowboys 1-4 if Romo makes that much of a difference? Whose to say Romo doesn't cost the Cowboys the game instead of winning it?

Please, Dallas was up and driving again before Romo got hurt. Yes they are 1-4 but a ton of those games were decided by 7 points or less and here you are trying to tell me the Giants "should have" won by atleast 24.

Yes, they should have won by 24. And if that was because Romo went out of the game, so be it. My point was the stats show the Giants dominated the game and should have won by a lot more than they did. That was my argument against calling the Giants an elite team or the best team in the NFC. Even when I agree with Cowboy fans one still has to argue. Oh boy.

Unless you were watching a totally different game than I was, or you just chose not to notice, but the Cowboys defense absolutely gave up the moment Romo went out. They quit.

It didn't help either that along with their quitting that Kitna and the offense went 3 and out on 6 straight possessions.

Your offense getting zero first downs for about 2 quarters + a heartless defense that has given up = a whole bunch of yards and points for the other team.

Again, you proved my point even further. I don't care what the Cowboys did. It was said that the Giants may be the best team in the NFC or NFL. I argued that if they were, they should have won by more than 6. Why is that not getting across?
