Anyone for Samardzija?

No. He's too slow. He's basically a tight end trapped in a WR body. He'll probably go pro in baseball, as the Cubs have offered him a contract.

Wow! I guess opinions dont cost much these days but you still decided to borrow yours from Skip Bayless. At least spend two cents on them. Parcells is a great coach who deserves an oscar for his performance with the media this season. He has not cuss anyone out and has not said anything negative about Owens. Owens is the problem. Not Tuna!

Parcells deserves an oscar for acting like a coach.

half to laugh at just post stupid things. If you want the definition of blind hatred, right there in the dictionary it says: Just Say No.

By the way- MIchigan and OSU both has lower SOS then ND did this season. Ask them about games against such powers as Illinois, Central Michigan, Ball State, etc.

I figure he would play baseball.......right?
He probably will b/c the money's better. But if he wanted a shot at a longer career, I'd imagine football would be the option.

He's 6'5 218lbs. He'd have an impressive height advantage over most CBs. In baseball...there's always a hungry kid from the Dominican Republic that can throw harder and faster.

They didnt beat anybody.

If your "stars" cant perform and play on "big" college stages then why should people expect them to perform on BIG stages in the NFL.

Until they prove thmselves they are overrated.

So tell me, what great teams did Mich. beat?

I say we draft Samardzija, sign safety Kevin Kaesviharn then trade for T.J. Houshmandzadeh this offseason. :mchammer: :spidey:

I would draft Dwayne Jarrett's jockstrap before Samardzija.

After the Cubs ruin his baseball career, I predict a return to the gridiron around 2010.

So you are saying he is going to follow a simlar path that Chris Wenke took? Decide he wants to play baseball because there is more money in it, fail and then fall back to football after six years in the minors? :D

ND brought Michigan's SOS down.:lmao2:

After Ginn and Calvin are off the board, I'm not sure there is a WR worth a first round pick. I'm not on the Jarrett wagon until a Carroll USC wide receiver proves he's worth his salary in the pros. They put up huge numbers in college in that offense, but Kerry Colbert and Mike Williams have been busts at the next level. Samardijza isn't even the best WR on his team.

Let's see what he runs at the combine. I think he will have slow times. Also he needs to decide if he wants to play football or baseball.

oh no. Not another baseball-football-baseball-football player
