Being in Ct., I take the opportunity to see the 'Boys as much as possible when they're local. My Family and I are making the trek up to Gillette this weekend and are hoping to meet up with some other Cowboys Fans. We're tailgating as soon as they let us into the gates. PM me your cell and maybe we can sync up with fellow fans!

I would...anybody have tickets to the game they can't use and want to unload? I know they're available on stub hub, etc. but for 3 or 4X the face value.

Good luck with the Mass (orifices)! Thought of making the trek from Hartford, but have to be in NYC that morning.

Going to try. A friend has season tickets and normally sells all of his seats for every game except one...and of course, this year he is keeping this game (can't blame him). However, he is connected to the season ticket holder's re-sale network where tickets are only list price + 10%, so I am going to try and get them from that.

Fingers crossed.

I am thinking about making the trip up for this game..question for those of you who have been to Gillette - how is the atmosphere there? I haven't heard any horror stories about Giellette , but I just want to make sure. If I go I definitely plan on being decked out in cowboys gear...Is Gillette just a regular stadium as far as Patriots fans are concerned?

I've been to a couple of games (Foxboro) - we used to get Jets tickets all the time when I covered Amerada Hess . There was a large section of Jets fans and nothing seemed to get out of hand, although I saw a few fights in the parking lot - not sure if it was Jets / Patsy related. Also saw the snow bowl game against Oakland w/o incident. The home fans do seem to get incredibly drunk, so anything's possible. Yankees Boston games are an entirely different level of animosity though - we always take our Yankee sticker (magnetic) off the car when entering the Boston area.

Do you mean are you in trouble wearing another jersey??? If that is the case, no trouble. Most Pats fans will welcome you and have a good time with you, as long as you are not -- let's use the word obnoxious.

The most obnoxious fans I ever dealt with in Foxboro were Steeler fans. You cannot possibly expect to go into a stadium of an opposing team -- anywhere -- and get away with being obnoxious. Actually at Gillette, they will probably throw you out. Kraft has turned the stadium into a family friendly atmosphere and any out of line behavior will not be tolerated.

So, if you go to have a good time, talk with the fans, and respect that you are in a stadium where the fans will be Patriot fans, you will be fine.

Tailgating is also a big thing there -- big time. So, go early, and put on the grill and relax for a time -- the stadium is mostly surrounded by woods. Also, it is a very good idea to go early. Because of where it is -- in the middle of no where, traffic can be a nightmare on Route 1. Just was not built for that kind of traffic.
