My contract with Verizon is up in a month and if I renew I'll be locked into two years without unlimited data, I just averaged out my account and over the last six billing cycles I've averaged 8.35GB per month of data. I'm considering switching to T-Mobile for the unlimited + JUMP. Anyone have experience with this?

I have Verizon(for my company/personal), I think they are great, wayyy better than Sprint. When your contract is up, you are month to month.

I have Tmobile. I never have a problem and I travel all over the US. The data can be hit or miss in more remote areas.

I have T-Mobile unlimited plan also. Like the others have said, in more remote areas it can be a little hit or miss, but it really depends on how much and where you travel. If you're a power user and don't travel much in remote areas it's great. It's nice not having to worry or check how close you are to limits each month, just surf, watch videos, etc without a care.

Just remembered T-Mobile no longer has overage charges. This includes previously signed contracts.

I have a $20 flip phone and I use T-Mobile. I paid $100 for 1000 minutes over a one year span. Works great for me. I used only $55 the last 12 months and just renewed and they rolled over the unused $45. I was able to even use the phone in Canada when my wife's smart phone wouldn't work there. She has Virgin Mobile which is pretty good, unlimited data up to a certain GB usage and then slowed down and 300 minutes/month for $35.

Does T-mobile still throttle data if you go over 2gb usage? They say it is unlimited, but once you past the throttle limit, your speed slows down to the point that it is not worth using.

I have T-Mobile. It's hit or miss to me, but not enough that it's worth paying what AT&T or Verizon want.

Thankfully I have a company phone that uses Verizon that I can use for personal use.My family uses Verizon also but I get a fairly decent discount (18%) since my company uses Verizon also.
