Anyone hear about Rey Mysterio Jr. accidentally killing wrestler in the ring?

I saw the full video. His trainer didn't do him any favors. He flipped him over a couple of times.

Reports are it was a cervical spine injury. But there are other people saying they believe it was a brain trauma issue. I tend to believe the latter given the incident. If it was a spine issue then this could have been something that happened a long time ago, even years ago, and all it took was one little bump to kill him.

The guy rocking him back and forth and the continued wrestling around his limp body probably didn't help if he had any chance at revival

Rey didn't kill him. It looks like a big accident after the dropkick. It seems to me that the middle rope was suppose to give, but it seemed kind of tight and he probably botched going into the middle rope in a certain way. Also, there were two others wrestlers injured that night.

The trainer shaking didn't help, but he probably thought he just passed out. He did take a nasty spill outside of the ring seconds prior.

Looking at the video, it seems to be incidental and a standard wrestling occurrence. Ray even looks like he pauses, kind of confused. You even tell if the drop-kick hits him on the head.
