I started 3 weeks ago as an out of shape 40 year old and it’s kicking my butt. Doing no gi, so dealing with the athleticism of 25 year olds is tough, but I keep coming back. I get gassed after two rounds of rolling, but am making progress.
It’s fun to start from the absolute bottom skill level and see yourself making progress, so that’s why I keep showing up. Anyone else here do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu?
