I'm with you man. After that puke performance on the big stage Monday night against a backup spare QB, that pretty much put a damper on my spirits for this team. Really the Saints game started it for me. This defense is just horrendous. I will definitely watch but I don't feel that excitement I usually do.

If the Vikings go through and win against the Eagles, I am afraid that Garrett and company will relax and play with even less urgency than normal, and get slapped around by the Pack.

I'll be amped up for the game, but I must concede the joy I once felt when watching the game isn't there anymore. Either I'm getting older, or the years of mediocrity have taken their toll.

A bad day for my cowboys used to make me grumpy for the rest of the day. between mediocrity and growing older, it doesn't bother me as much as it did in the past. More important things in life to spend that energy on, such as family, job and hobbies.

This is the most important part of the regular season. If you can't get excited for today's game then when the heck do you get excited in the regular season??

BTW if the Vikings somehow win it makes our game all the more important. If Philly loses and we win today, we can clinch next week. Can't wait to see how it plays out.
