Looks like he will not take the pay reduction and could be cut. The question is would you be interested in him if the price is right/would he fit in what we are doing. I have no doubt that we will bring in some sort of veteran wide receiver with the youth behind MA/DB and the injury history, it just remains how much will be spent there. Throwing it out there for discussion on a slow day. He was so integral in their season/superbowl victory and is just a tough sob who could kill it in the slot for us. Imagine Robinson x5.

The price won't be right though. I'm passing and focusing on the trenches, SAM LB and safety.

if the price was right? the other needs are obvious. this is for the sake of discussing something different than the same thing discussed over and over.

I believe Boldin said he'd retire if he were cut by the Ravens.

i guess he might have changed his mind?

"Boldin has rejected a Ravens proposal to reduce his salary and is preparing to become an unrestricted free agent if released, according to a person with knowledge of the negotiations."

Looks to that way. here is the linkhttp://sports.yahoo.com/news/boldin-says-hell-retire-cut-201011134--nfl.html

Take it for what it's worth. It's yahoo, and the author states Flacco will become a UFA, although it was posted today. lol

I really like Boldin, and he although not the best WR in the game, was always my favorite WR until Dez stepped onto the field. I would absolutely love to have him here, but the boys should probably focus on other positions in Free Agency.

Jerry would have given him 40 Million dollar extension after what he did that last month of the season.

He would be quite a headache to face twice a year. Guy is TOUGH, and just all around good at what he does.

4 years too late....I would have loved to have seen what would have happened with + Boldin - Roy Williams + traded draft picks to Detroit (Michael Oher was available)

speaking of the 2009 draft, aren't u glad we grabbed Stephen McGee over Henry Melton? Then again, if AZ sends us Boldin for a 3rd & 4th like they did to Balt the next year, then they wouldn't have had either player.

Would rather go after this guy:

Could be a huge bargain. SD won't give him a high RFA tender prob because of his knee history, but he was healthy all of last year (didn't play the first few games but not due to health issues). Only 24 and seems like a guy on the rise, plus has great size and decent speed. Could be everything we were hoping Andre Holmes could be.

No. Stay with the youth movement. Is only take older veteran on the oline.

If he wouldn't take a pay cut from 6mil. +, doesn't that already mean the price is not right?

If he was willing to play for cheap, he would stay with the Ravens.
They did just win the SB and have a far better team than us.

 Have all of your one thousand posts made this much sense?

WOW, what is the average age on this forum? lol, seeing posts about Harrison-Wilson-Boldin-Winston makes my head hurt!! To the people making posts about these specific players, do you realize if we ever want to get back to competing for championships year after year, these moves specifically for players who are going to want to be paid at 35-33-32-(29 RT who has been cut back to back seasons) Where are the threads for Andy Levitre OG (27)? Andre Smith RT (26)? Louis Vasquez OG (26)?

Good one. I had him in fantasy football last year. The dude was unstoppable at one point. I would love him as a #3 here.
