He was not as sharp as usual last night.

The FG and several of his XP's just made it inside the goal post.

Usually he is splitting the uprights.

I know he was hurt a few games back, has anyone heard anything ?

We are going to be in some tight games down the stretch and need to be able to count on him for the

big high pressure big gamewinner.

Took a good hit on that kick return tackle.

Note to Garret : Do not allow Dan Bailey to tackle anyone. EVER! He's too important.

I think he got his bell rung a bit on that tackle. His xp's were iffy after that. I bet he'll bet right down the middle again next week.

Good to see we have some astute fans on this board....like a couple of people have said...he had some helmet to helmet contact last night....and his XPs were shaky after that. Hopefully the cobwebs will be clear by Thursday

I know you're joking. The kicker is the last line of defense. The returner should never make it to him but if he does, the kicker has to tackle him or at least slow him down. To be honest, Bailey has been pretty good tackling this season. I just wish he didn't have to.

Bailey had to do something that no kicker wants to do and took a shot to the head. His kicks were pretty wonky after that.

Everything was going right. I was concerned during the game but not anymore. Let's hope nothing gets to his head though that's how kickers get into funks.

One of the best long term signings Jerry ever made !
Just hope his groin is not acting up. He was a little shakey even before he had his bell rung.

He had an ugly kickoff also that if the Giants player has any brains he lets it go out of bounds and takes possession at the 40. Something was clearly off with Bailey last night.

Bailey is tied for 16th in the NFL in kicking percentage (%85.7), however I believe one was blocked (am I recalling that right?)

Truth be told, he has been good not great this season.
