Wait, that was Issiac Holt! lol

He came over in 1990

Issac "Karate Man" Holt He stole the "Karate Man" bit from Eddie Murphy in Trading Places. He said a corner back had to be like the karate man. He doesn't let you see how he feels. He bruises on the inside.

I loved that guy. He was a decent player and a funny guy. He had that great block on the Kelvin Martin punt return for a TD against Philly. Just laid out the final guy chasing K-Mart.

My college fight song starts out "rise and shout the Cougars are out..."

I was on the sidelines on crutches when he returned a kickoff 104 yards untouched for a TD.

I started singing, rather loudly..."rise and pout the Owls are out..."

It didn't go over so well. Ever run laps on crutches?

LOL, I end up on crutches after trying to run laps!

We need a K-Mart on this team!

Hell, we need characters on this team like we had in 89 and 90!

That team was 1-15 but played with more heart every game then this team has all season!

James Dixon. He was the team highlight reel that season.

People here make fun of Portis for his get ups, but every team needs that type of energy. He may be a little over the top, but I don't see anyone on Dallas with any energy.

No kidding.
Last week we ruled.
Bledsoe was Player of the Week and people were seriously discussing whether he should be in the Hall of Fame.

This week? We get people saying he should be benched for Romo in the middle of a playoff run. We have people convinced that our entire organization should be fired.

Stupid pathetic self-proclaimed "fans" non-fans without an ounce of perspective.

None of these people could have survived the 1-15 season. Must be a bunch of residual 3 out of 4 bandwagon jumpers.

There are also plenty of people on this board who have had serious reservations about Bledsoe, the lack of development at the QB position for the last three years, the lack of a OL, a running game, a pass rush, and a field goal kicker just to name a few things.

Much of what you are reading is not knee jerk, but see I told you.

BTW I have been a fan since as long as I can remember to include plenty of horrendous seasons before the glory days of the nineties.

Just because you are a HOF coach does not mean you are hitting on all cylinders. This team is lacking big time.

Great post.

Thanks Hos.

I really want to get behind BP and trust BP in all. Right now I just have serious doubts about what he is doing.

I think the talent level has improved since the days of Campo, but like I said in another thread out doing Campo is not the goal here.

I just dont see many areas where this team is really set up for the future other than the secondary. That is assuming Henry bounces back and we find a SS.

The LBs are not impressive. The DL could very well be without Glover and Ellis next year. That leaves an unimpressive run stopper in Ferguson and unproven Canty and Spears. I like the potential of Canty and I think he will be fine. Spears still has much to prove.

We all know the OL has to be 100% redone.

The WRs have to be replaced. Not that I dont like Keyshawn and Glenn, but those guys are obviously not the future.

The RBs I think we are ok with, but then again they at this point are not givens.

Bledsoe is not the QB of the future and we have no idea what we have waiting in the wings.

Those negatives are just player personnel issues. When it comes to game day I dont see a team that I would call super prepared. I dont see a team that makes adjustments. I dont see a team that plays with intensity. I dont know, I just dont see much to gush over.

If we could magically forget that BP was the coach and superimpose Campo over everything BP has done, you can bet Campo would be catching some serious flak...by some of the same ones who support BP to the hilt.

I'm just curious if anyone know any good orthopedic surgeons because with the amount of asinine knee jerking (with emphasis on the jerk) going on on this website today, surely there will be plenty of people who will need medical attention.
LOL.

good one!

Or you would have :lmao:
Not saying I would have or wouldn't have, but it would have only been about a 30 yard return if I had.

:wink2:
