Thanks Hos.
I really want to get behind BP and trust BP in all. Right now I just have serious doubts about what he is doing.
I think the talent level has improved since the days of Campo, but like I said in another thread out doing Campo is not the goal here.
I just dont see many areas where this team is really set up for the future other than the secondary. That is assuming Henry bounces back and we find a SS.
The LBs are not impressive. The DL could very well be without Glover and Ellis next year. That leaves an unimpressive run stopper in Ferguson and unproven Canty and Spears. I like the potential of Canty and I think he will be fine. Spears still has much to prove.
We all know the OL has to be 100% redone.
The WRs have to be replaced. Not that I dont like Keyshawn and Glenn, but those guys are obviously not the future.
The RBs I think we are ok with, but then again they at this point are not givens.
Bledsoe is not the QB of the future and we have no idea what we have waiting in the wings.
Those negatives are just player personnel issues. When it comes to game day I dont see a team that I would call super prepared. I dont see a team that makes adjustments. I dont see a team that plays with intensity. I dont know, I just dont see much to gush over.
If we could magically forget that BP was the coach and superimpose Campo over everything BP has done, you can bet Campo would be catching some serious flak...by some of the same ones who support BP to the hilt.
