Anyone know anything about Hypnosis? Vandy might need it.

I ain't much on that kind of stuff, but I keep hearing people say that Vandy's problem is that he still has that Pittsburgh kick in his head from last January and that is what is screwing him up. So I was wondering if maybe getting a hypnotist to do something with him.

At the same time maybe we could get him to act like a chicken on the field too.
We could use the eggs :D

I'd be willing to try anything at this point. Would BP considerk that?

"You will not push the ball to the right."

I can just see BP taking out a gold pocket watch, swinging it rhythmically in front of Vandy's face.

"You are getting sleeeepy, very very sleeeepy...."

"When I count to ten, you will wake up".

"And you will be cut.":laugh2:

LOL. Interesting take on it.

Here's the dilemna, we can't trust our kicker. But we can't trust anyone else who is out there.

I think we wanted Vinateri all along, but he signed with Indy before we had a chance to even give him a visit. We got stuck with the ugly sister.

I think it would go more like this:

BIll swinging the watch, "you're getting sleeeepy, verrrry sleeeepy..."

*WACK* *PING* *POW*

"wake-up!"

Vandy: "ow, my face hurts"

stare at that thing for a full minute then look at the back of your hand, gotta be my all time favorite optical illusion.

The signing of Vinetarie by the Colts didn't go that way at all. Vinetarie expected offers but never even received any serious interest; he sat around ans waiting for at least 2 weeks before he changed agents and the new guy got him an interview with the Colts who immediately signed him. It turns out his original agent was very tight with Belicheck and I'm thinking (bet Vinetarie did as well) that there was a conspiracy afoot for NE to keep him at lesser salary then he wanted. Thought it very interesting that Parcells told NE he wouldn't pursue Vinetarie unless another team did so first. After all, Parcells son in law is NE's GM. I think Parcells very much wanted Vinetarie but Colts sprang trap too soon. Also heard that Vinetarie never had any intention to resigning with NE cause he was upset/furious over the way they treated him. They just kept signing him to 1 year deals which didn't give him any long range security.

I have ALWAYS felt that is the problem with Vandy

I have used hypnosis before and found it effective. It is not like you see on tv and you are fully aware of everything.
Many atheletes use these techniques. You would be surprised to know how many as I have heard by those in this field?
I think it would be a great tool for Vadershank!

I am still very concerned about Vanderjagt.

I know BP said he would look into it after Turkey game.

Watching Vandy kick on thursday... I would imagine Bill is looking...

I have a bad feeling about him with the game on the line.

Never mind all that "most accurate kicker" stuff.... I want kicker that kicks under pressure.... we didnt get that guy.

I STILL dont understand.... we wanted to solve kicking issue... we needed kicker that could kick under pressure. He is in New England.
