I know his contract info: 5 years, $17.5 million, including $5 million bonus.

But how much is he getting in base this year? I don't see that on the site, but thanks for the link.

It appears that Dallas would come out in the hole this year regarding Ayodele if the Cowboys replace him with Zach Thomas (unless they release Ayodele this summer ... then they would break even on Ayodele for this year).

The prorated portion of his signing bonus appears to be $3 million. Then, on top of that, Dallas would have to add the money it would cost to sign Thomas.

Now, in the long run, the cap savings might not be too bad (depending on Thomas' price), but it doesn't do anything for us this year, except possibly give us a better player who might or might not have another couple of seasons in him.

Hmm ... I did not notice an option for details, but Woody's Girl was nice enough to provide them for me.
