I hate hearing the "we were behind" argument. Falling behind 2 scores in the NFL isn't an abandon the run requirement. Comebacks are based on defense stops. You have to score, of course, but you have to make stops. We can't do that, you know, bend and break and all that. Running with Zeke, when it's working, can be a perfectly good comeback strategy of the sense could make a stop

Exactly. Because the defense made stops. No matter how fast you score, there other team still gets the ball.

The defense can keep you scoreless for an entire half and it won't matter if the offense doesnt put up points. The offense relied on the run in the 2nd half to come back.

Thankfully Emmitt stayed in the game on that running drive to open the 3rd quarter instead of seeking a breather.

So we have a guy who sits out of the whole training camp in Cabo, while his mates are sweating. Comes home and the owner rewards him with a huge fat contract, when he has 2 more seasons on the old one. 3/4 quarters into the season he's still not in game shape.
There are 10 starters on the team who play their hearts out every minute they're on the field. There are another five who think ":it's a job". There are another five who don't give a damn.

There's one thing almost all have in common.

They all feel the way Zeke was handled was bullcrap. There's a team , and then there's Zeke They don't say anything, but trust me it crosses their minds.

This is one of the reasons we fail. JERRY

Zero reason for him to have that few carries

Zeke has been coming out of the game winded after a couple of nice long runs and it usually is when Dallas gets down into the opponents 30 yd line. Zeke is such a diva and Im really get tired of his feed me antics.
There is just something wrong with this whole team and its all coach related. There are tendancies that other teams have picked up on and that was evident when the Bills pressured Dak and covered Pollard for the int. Teams know what Dallas wants to do under pressure and in certain situations. The secondary is horrible, Josh Allen completed 79% of his passes against Dallas and is somewhere around 60% against the rest of the league. The D line and LBs cant stop the run Dallas was still getting gashed by the run game. The defense is being read like a book and nobody is talking about it.

Zeke could crucify a child and there would still be people that defend him. Slowly but surely more and more people are starting to admit what a waste of a contract he is but unfortunately the guy who matters most already hitched his wagon to this chump.

Zeke is nothing, he’s no Emmitt and he’s no Barry. He is slightly above average and won a couple rushing titles due to his O line and his amount of carries, he’s been more of a headache off the field than what he’s worth on the field. There’s not one game we’ve won because of him and not one game we would have lost without him. He’s arguably the biggest waste of a contract in Cowboys history, contracts like this are why Jerrah hasn’t won a championship in over two decades.

Bring on the excuses, Garrett seems to be convenient right now but paying a RB that much momey is dumb no matter who the coach is.

Based on this board by some, he is no good and this is the $40M man's team, which is the reason from the 9:30 in the 3rd period till end of game Zeke did not get another carry at all. When you ask Dak to throw 50 times against a good team you are not winning that game and get out of here with that PFF ----.

It's not Zeke's fault. It is that $ 90 million dollar money belt he is lugging around on the field.

On a serious note, our offensive line's blocking ability is imbalanced being only proficient in pass protecting, certainly not run blocking.

the defense keeps fooling dak and he keep killing the run plays to pass. he needed to pad his stats to prove he's a real quarterback, sorta like the same reason he doesn't run.
