Anyone live in Atlanta?

I may be moving to the area and want to live in a suburb, but there are a number to choose from. My office would be in Alpharetta and would need to go in at least twice a week, so wouldn't want a long commute (I heard the traffic is terrible). I'd like to have some land and need good schools and low crime.

Anyone have any advice?

Yeah, just don't move to Atlanta. It's a nothing happening city and you'll want to get out of there ASAP.

Your best bet is Roswell, Alpharetta, Cumming, or Suwanee. But, if you're looking for little traffic, you basically need to live by where you work. Many times, the traffic in the suburbs is worse than the city. And remember, it was just this past winter where they had 2 inches of snow and it gridlocked the entire city.

I live in Atlanta & like it.

No kids though so I do not know about the schools.

This is a big city & of course there are things to do.
