Anyone notice Deion Sanders wore a Cowboys logo?

Did any of y'all notice he had the Cowboys and not the Falcons logo on his pro-bowl shirt? I thought that was pretty cool of him.

I'm pretty sure he retired as a Falcon, but the guy is a Cowboy at heart. More ties with us and lives in Dallas.

Edit: Deion*

I'll never understand the fans that care.

Consider him whatever you want, just help the team win games. That's all I care about.

Exactly. Hated TO with a passion, but when when he was scoring TD's for us loved him!

I did notice it. I thought he would have worn the Falcon logo. I figured the higher ups convinced him to wear the Cowboys logo to play upon the Deion vs. Jerry ( Cowboys vs. 49ers ) rivalry of the 90's. Since they couldn't play upon the NFC vs AFC rivalry, they had to create one via the team chosers.

Funny, Deion played with Rice in SF in 1994, the year they beat us.

Cowboyszone is a very unique site. Only place I know that routinely disrespects its legends. You guys hate Deion, you hate Emmitt b/c of the "diamond" comment, you guys call 3 time Super Bowl winner Troy Aikman overrated and Romo a superior player, you guys prop up losers like Ware when comparing him to Charles Haley, Garrett is compared to Tom Landry, etc...etc...this site can be a very weird place sometimes.

I'm grateful for what he did as a cowboy.

But I have never considered him a Cowboy.

What? Prime Time reached the pinnacle of his "primeness" because he played for Dallas. He would have had half as many interviews and games on tv if he played anywhere else. When I think of Sanders. I think of 3 things; Atlanta Braves, FS Seminoles and Dallas Cowboys.

Falcons and 49ers are afterthoughts in his career.

I was with you till you said this. There's a reason why Charles Haley has not made the HOF and to me it's likely he doesn't get in this year, where I can almost guarantee Demarcus Ware gets into Canton sooner. Only way he doesn't is if his play continues to drop, which I don't think will happen.

The strength of those 90s defenses, was the sheer number of pass rushers we could send at opposing offenses. Charles Haley, Tony Tolbert, Jim Jeffcoat, Russell Maryland, Tony Casilas, Leon Lett and Jimmie Jones, were all starting caliber players, yet were used in a rotation with us. Haley did bring a toughness to the defense that we previously didn't have, but you are delusional if you think it's a given that the 90s defenses would be worse off with a Demarcus Ware in his prime vs a Charles Haley at the end of his career.

DeMarcus Ware absolutely destroys Charles Haley. Only a delusional old-timer would disagree.

And once again... Troy HIMSELF said Tony's better than he ever was. I know that fact craps all over the Romo haters' faces, but that is indeed a fact.

Add that fact to all the other facts regarding Romo's place in history among NFL QBs and the haters' argument is reduced to child's play: "Nuh uh! Romo sucks because I say so and he's a doodie-head!!"

Well... he kind of burned bridges in ATL and he was only with SF for one year.

But the guy wanted to be a Cowboy because of Irvin and he settled down in Dallas when he arrived at age 28.

Jerry probably paid him to wear it.
