Anyone notice how many Boys fans there were in SD?

In the final drive for the Bolts, you could hear them chanting "De-Fence"... I thought it was very cool. I realize there are a lot of Boys fans at a lot of games, but it's been a while since I've heard them so vocal in a road game.

Major props to all the Cowboys fans they showed on the TV. It looked like large sections of the stadium were full of Dallas fans and they looked loud and proud. I hope it's like that in every single OOT game for the Boys this year. It must really give the guys a boost to go to another city and have that huge support system! :star: :star: :star:

What I noticed was that there wasn't much booing after SD would commit an untimely penalty. Usually you will hear the local teams fans go nuts when that happens. I didn't hear that at all.

Yeah, it was amazing, must have been 25-30000 at least. I guess Fox is so used to it it did not occur to Aikman and Buck to mention the number of Cowboy fans there, unlike Simms last year who mentioned how many Steeler fans were at Texas Stadium, oh every second play.

Funny, but somebody on SD board just mentioned this very thing.

Was this a Dallas home game>? i watched the game and all I could here was all the dallas fans. The roar at the end of the game was unbelievable!!! What is the deal? I mean I just thought because the Chargers were so bad in the past that the fans didn't wanna come. But now it looks like there aren't that many Charger fans in San Diego!?! The home opener, your team came off the playoffs and 25,000+ fans from a team that isn't even in your conference comes there and takes over???

Do you all really think outside of the loyal fanbase in here that there are enough fans in San diego?? I did see Pamela Anderson and Ashton Kutcher but the camera found rows upon sections of dallas fans. Is this the way it will be??

Go Bolts!!!

Way off topic, but I really enjoyed not having to listen to Collinsworth!!!

Where I was sitting at the game, I was surrounded by a throng of Cowboys fans. It was beautiful man. Witnessing live the upset over the Chargers was an incredible experience. When the final whistle sounded, we were all high fiving and chanting Cowboys, Cowboys, Cowboys!!!! The Cowboys are back!! :starspin

Makes up for last year's game against Pitt at Texas Stadium; when they upstaged us in our own house.

Sadly, today's fans were almost as loud as TX stadium on a good day.

Steelers play in Houston next week.

Should be interesting to see how many Steeler fans show up. Houston and Pittsburgh's rivalry goes way back and runs deep; way back to the Oiler days when they got robbed of going to the SB. Mike Renfro catch anyone?

I live in S. Cali and there's an abundance of cowboys fans, its ridiculous. Might as well be LA's unofficial team.

What I thought was really cool was after the game. You could really hear the Cowboy fans going crazy. I noticed tons of Aikman jerseys in the stands and thought we were represented quite well.

I noticed most of the Cowboy fans seemed to be Latino, likely because in Southern California and Northern Mexico there are a lot of Cowboys fans. That likely played a role in the number of Boys fans.

Being there, I can vouch that it was incredible...our section was chanting "not in OUR house today".

SDiego PA crew kept trying to drown out the Cowboy fans when we were louder or chanting cowboys...that was annoying but otherwise I'm still on the high from yesterday....
