SO this is the book by mark maske the washington post reporter about the four teams in the nfc east and the process of the offseason from 05 to the end of 06.

I really enjoyed it. I bought it this morning and read the whole thing today, couldnt put it down.

It has some great nuggest in it like for instance, The reason we signed kyle kosier is because Brian Gaine Assistant director of pro scouting for us spoke up and said everyone needs to watch tape of this player, the rest of the staff did and parcells and ireland decided he is a player on the rise that could be had for a safe contract.

oh and this nugget. On the night the skins signed all their players march 11, 2006 Dan snyder admitted he was worried about Dallas signing owens and called drew rosenhaus. Rosenhaus who is a friend from doing business with him of snyder said he didnt know who was signing owens and didnt think it was dallas.....

snyder promptly told him if you allow owens to sign in Dallas and I quote
"I will buy sean taylor a car if he knocks his a-- out"

Snyder then said if he was jerry jones he would be very worried, after what they just did.

Its a good book and since it deals with basically the same coaches and rosters right now it is great to read. The Commanders are even more dysfunctional than I thought...

here is a link to it on amazon. I picked it up for 10 bucks this morning at half price books!
