when Charles Haley punched a hole in the wall after a early season loss? I believe it was during Emmitts hold out. Anyway, I bring it up because there is absolutely no one on this team with close to that kind of passion for winning. sucks!

I did hear that Ware hired an ex-boxer to come and punch a hole in the wall but the guy couldn't get passed the security guards. So instead, Ware had Bailey draw a very realistic hole on the wall.

Dez's passion can be seen in alot of ways, sometimes it seems like a lil kid throwing a temper tantrum cause he didn't get his way more than anything to do with winning.

TRat is the only one I would say that looks that angry over a loss.

Anger doesn't make someone more or less passionate though.

Remember Wade's last season? Where everyone had mailed it in and no one cared? No one except Dez? The man is willing to leave everything on the field to win - that's passion. Does he need to focus it more? Sure. But the last player I have seen with as much heart as he has...was the Playmaker.

I get what you are saying, but I'm not sure I'd want my players constantly putting their hand through a wall when things don't go their way. Just seems like a stupid injury to waiting to happen.

Yes he did. He also beat a 49er teammate up in the parking lot and peed on a coaches car and dared anybody to do anything about it. Charles was a scary, intimidating man but thank god he got help and figured it out.

Haley didn't punch the wall. He threw his helmet at it near Jerry Jones and yelled at him to get Emmitt's deal done because we couldn't win with the rookie RB. Jerry and Emmitt got the deal done. Emmitt led the NFL in rushing despite missing those two games and we won back to back.

Our problem is not a rookie RB trying to play in place of an all time great. I know the OP is not saying that, and is calling for passion, but I don't think it is simply a case of someone needs to yell to wake people up.
