Why are they so concerned about graphics when their announcers just suck so bad?

I hope they pay no attention to most of the top answers so far.

Is it just me or for #3 were both answers bad choices. I'd rather not see the scoreboard when the play is happening which is live action. In between plays fine. But once the ball is snapped get it off the screen so more of the field is visible.

I hate the graphics that take up half the screen. The smaller the better for me.

If they had announcers that were worth a darn we wouldn't even need the graphics at all.

One of the things I loved about Chick Hearn when he did Lakers games was that he would constantly update you with all the pertinent info. I would just be thinking, "Does magic have 3 or 4 fouls" and Chick would pipe in with how many fouls Magic had. Dick Enberg was another one who was very good at keeping the viewers up to date.

I believe it was because they did radio as well as TV and had to let the listeners know what was going on with more detail than the viewers.

The 3-stooges on ESPN are completely worthless so the graphics are very necessary. They are so lost most of the time I'm surprised they can find their cars after the game.

They're not even he good Stooges (Larry, Moe, & Curly) but are composed of: Curly Joe, Joe Besser, and Shemp.

I agree. Nothing should be on the screen but the action when the play is on.

This poll was VERY worth the time, thank you.

That said, where is the option for.....

CONSTANTS FANTASY UPDATES!!!

There are 8 billion Americans playing fantasy football, and I'd wager 3/4 of the people watching these spare *** games are watching it for either fantasy football or gambling. Is it really too much to ask to give us constant fantasy updates?

I'd add Pat Summerall to that list as well. He was so perfect... not too much talking, straight to the point, and gave you all the info you needed throughout the game. I miss him doing the Cowboys' broadcasts.

On the voting:

PLEASE DO NOT PUT THE SCORE ON THE SCREEN AT ALL TIMES! That's freaking stupid. (Especially since I'll have to deal with the score ticker on the screen on every bit of footage I use from ESPN in my videos.)

Now they should make a Poll for camera angles. I wish they would be more sky cam replays to see why the player was or wasnt open.
