Anyone use Firefox "Adblock"?

I downloaded the Adblock extension, then went here to import the filter list:

http://mysite.verizon.net/rick752/firefox/adblock_filter_list.htm

But flashing/moving ads are still appearing on my computer. Was there a final step I overlooked?

Have not used it...normally the software already in mozilla catches most POP UPs.

Now there are a few instances, where some of the moving ads will be there but I am not sure if that ad block really stops that stuff....once again I have not used it so I am not sure.

One thing of note though.

Once you download and install something on firefox you should then log completely off of firefox and restart it...sometimes that is the problem.

Also it may be a program where you have to go in and set it up to get it right (ala tab browser to some extent).

I use it and have it block a lot of the flashing ads that pop up with no issue
