It was really a good game. It went to OT with Fl, coached by Jim Fassel, beating the undefeated Vegas team coached by Jim Haslett. Anyways, I was only watching half way and think I heard them say that the kicker of LV, Matt Bryant(you should all know him) could be kicking for Arizona Sunday. Their season is over and all of these players are NFL free agents. Im sure theres one or two worth bringing in for special teams and maybe depth. Here's some names you might know that plays in that league:

Koren Robinson
Micheal Pittman
Odell Thurman
Rickey Manning Jr
Bobby Sippo
Teddy Lehman
JP Losman
DeDe Dorsey (I think he was the best player in the league they said, but I only watched one game so)
Tatum Bell

Well heres the list

This league is full of the unlucky former NFL player who has gotten cut or didn't want to ride the bench. Just like this old quote Im about to mention I think sums up the players with this league "the bottom 5-7 players of every team are probably equivalent to the players in this league." Its just money, attitude and whether a team likes apples or oranges when making a cut. Anyways, any interest because all of these players are now free agents I beileve. Opinions

Some of these guys were pretty good back in the day, like Pittman and Robinson, but none of these guys could make our roster now.

Pittman still looks like he could play. I know we dont need a rb but he would fit in perfect in Philly. There has to be somebody in that league that could help a team.

Just spitballing...I know Tra Battle started a game or two for us last year at safety, and that Lekkerkerker guy might be worth another look at OLine depth since they are familiar with Wade.

Quite a few former NFL players in that league. Odell has to be the one who feels the most pathetic though given that he showed he definately had NFL level talent but through it away for all that off the field junk he kept getting into.

The UFL needs to do justice to itself and truly promote the league heading into Year 2, which I think it will. Word is there is definite expansion by 2 clubs going into next season, and likely 2 more going into 2011. San Antonio being mentioned as one of the likely candidates for the 2010 expansion.

The level of football was very, very good, especially considering they only had about 4 weeks of camp to get ready and rosters were constantly in flux throughout the 6 week season. This offseason they will have a college draft, a full slate of mini-camps, and a full training camp, so the quality will most likely be even higher in Year 2.

no, he isnt

Robinson apparently still has it physically, but he can't seem to escape the behavioral issues. He actually was suspended from the UFL in about Week 3 for missing several NY Sentinels meetings.

Simeon Rice was also there of course, perhaps the most adorned name in the league when you go on past individual accolades and championships. Also saw Tim Rattay go in for Losman for a play yesterday.
