The bugs are at full force there tonight, you can see like 20 of them sitting on Chamberlains neck while pitching and them flying everywhere on camera.

Good game by the way too.

I know this is baseball and OT but I have never seen anything like this before.

There are swarms and swarms of gnats that have invaded the field.

Is this a usual thing in Cleveland around this time of year?

Its unreal.

I think you can argue they affected the pitching in the 8th leading to the tied score.

Ya think, with a game this important, they would stop play for a short while?

Clearly the problem lessened by the 9th and definitely in the extra innings.

I'm sure the umps could have asked for advice. This is not the first time the bug thing has happened in Cleveland.

Ya know, you've got a kid on the mound, Chamberlain...who threw a pitch at 99mph the inning before...who was clearly bothered and wild as all hell. If he would have hit a batter in the head with a pitch, then what?

There were players on the field spraying them selves with bug spray. It's a ONE RUN GAME, in the playoffs. Stop the damn game for 45 minutes if ya have to.

Sometimes I am amazed at the stupidity of people. This was one of those times.

I heard on Mike & Mike this morning that one of the reasons they kept Game Two going without delay was because they've had that problem before, and sometimes it takes days for the bugs to go away. Days.
