Anyone watching? I like what I'm seeing

Watching Training Camp Live on DCC, (run session). I know I just clicked on, but only after 5 minutes I see two things I love and that I've been screaming at for a long time now...Every time a defensive guy gets close to the ball he is trying to strip,rip, hit, or at least touch the ball. Even if the whistles have been blown..THAT IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!! Has to be something the coaches are stressing. I LOVE IT..

And is it me or is the pace on Offense a ton faster..I don't know if they can keep that pace, but I really like it...Sorry about this comparison, but the pace reminds me of the Patriot offensive pace from last year. ZOOM, ZOOM, ZOOM...

I had another shoulder surgery less that 14 hours ago, and while the nerve block is still in place, and the meds are feeling good right now, this is sweeeet being able to watch and notice little things like this. I say this in case I ramble too much today... :)

On the other hand, I don't like what I'm seeing from the OL...But what else is new right? Believe it or not, Free is looking the best, and THAT'S FREEEEKIN scary!!! If this team has issues all year with "THE BEEF" (OL &DL), it's really going to piss me off. Everyone knew we should have drafted 6 linemen, and should have signed 2-3 more in FA. We have two guys on the field playing on the DL that were signed off the street. One guy is on the field (with a STAR on his helmet) that was signed two hours ago. That makes absolutely NO sense to me. With a guy like Abraham or Charles sitting out there, why are we signing a guy who is considered a bust by the team he was drafted by just 3-4 years ago...

I'm going from excited to oh crap every other play...
 
Abraham would play the Weak-side DE position. That's Ware's position (and Wilber's). They need more on the Strongside.

Some of that is the team. Some of that is the meds. I'll tell you by seasons end which was which. :)
 
Yea, the offensive line has looked shaky in these Cowboys Live feeds. The QB is getting sacked a lot.
 
I definitely like what I'm seeing and hearing from training camp. My problem is that it's so easy to like what we're seeing this time of the year. We, as NFL fans are so desperate for anything football, we get a fresh start after a very dramatic season, etc... I feel like I need to take a very "wait and see" approach to the team. The fan in me wants to go crazy and cheer every great catch and throw, the "realist" in me says that we've been the worst thing you can be over the past few seasons; average.

Keep in mind the starting guards are still on the sideline.

Sounds like you need to take another dose of meds. Actually send some my way because I see what your seeing above. I was so hoping they would get some young beef on both sides of the line and I think we'll pay for that later when we need depth to fill in some spots.

I had fallen for this same thing every year as well but this year seems different and I'm very weary of "the same old product". I'm really concerned about the OLine howve excited to see our defense and how they react in preseason games.
