Defenses arent just showing up. Cards and WVU's defense has showed up in almost every other game. I think WVU has like 6th in YPG allowed and Cards are like 8th. Its some stat we are up there with, cant remember.

WVU has been exposed for the fraud they are. This game shows that they dont belong anywhere near the top 5 and the top 10 for that matter. Good West Virginia! Just like I though...

Neither teams are frauds.

They are just Offense first Teams.

WVU killed themselves with turnovers and the game was lost when Slaton, for some crazy reason thought he would stay out the whole third quarter instead of either running with the ball in his other hand or being used at least as a decoy.

I hope the cards win out the rest of the year and get a chance at the National Championship.

Still love my team but they shot themselves in the foot during this game and the best team on the field won the game.

I am still impressed with Pat White.

Getting their national championship hopes crushed on national TV couldn't have happened to a better bunch of losers than the wvu puke fans in Morganhole.

Their behavior towards visiting fans up in that dump ranges from disrespectful to criminal.

WVU had the 89th ranked SOS. Louisville was 70th. You can usually pad stats against lesser opponents.

I had Louisville going into this game because they are more balanced on offense and were at home.

I also was rooting for them for selfish reasons. Louisville beats WVU at home, then have to play AT Rutgers, while WVU gets Rutgers at home. I'm rooting for the round robin Big East smackdown of eachother.

You know I like both marshall and WVU.

However I find it funny that someone that only likes marshall even has the guts to talk about WVU with the way marshall has sunk to the depths it has the last couple of years.

It is just painful to watch Marshall games the last couple of seasons.

We go from having good QBs and WRs where the offense was lighting it up in the air to having just one good RB and young TE.

I guess Bobby knew the level of talent he had on the team and how bad they would be during his last spring session and that is why he retired during that spring session.

They got friggin spanked, beaten horribly, embarassed, the scoreline favors WVU, but the fact is that they were demolished.


If anything, this game is evidence that the big least shouldnt be allowed to play for a BCS game.

Because I know they are an offensive team now.

For years under the previous coach we were a defensive team first and a grind the ball out with the run conservative offense.

Now they offense scores so fast with the run that the defense is normally on the field way too much.

If WVU plays their A game they can compete with ANY team in the nation.

That last game was not their A game as the turnovers killed them. The eliminate a couple of those turnovers, if slaton stayed healthy they would have won that game IMO.

Sorry...will not bash the team and I still think they can compete with any team in the nation. As long as they can score.

I wish the D was better but I doubt it will be much better when they run that offense and score so quickly.
