Aggies on the road but i think Ou at home. regardless Baylor always plays the Aggies tough, even when they're not a good team they're a threat to upset the Aggies, though this year Baylor might be ranked higher before all is said and done, who knows.MC KAos;4083081 said:does baylor get OU and TAMU at home or on the road this year?
They very well could be 5-0 before they face the Aggies, the next ranked opponent on their schedule:MC KAos;4083081 said:does baylor get OU and TAMU at home or on the road this year?
And bummer, Baylor was supposed to play Notre dame next season, that would've been fun, some reason it is canceled, that would've been a lot of gold on the field.MC KAos;4083081 said:does baylor get OU and TAMU at home or on the road this year?
Ranked 20 in the Ap coaches poll now, dropping TC down to 25 from 14. I think Baylor may peak in the top 15 by season's end, it will also help them land with a good conference after the Big 12 blows up in the next year or two.Doomsday101;4088509 said:I really enjoyed that game. Baylor started coming on strong last season and with RGIII running that offense they will not be a push over.

Seeming they play A&M tough no matter how good either team is it's a toss up, Mizzo almost lost to Baylor last year, UT did lose to Baylor last year and this is not a very impresive tech team, for now it's actually the worst team in the Big 12 South.The30YardSlant;4090169 said:I think this might be a tad premature. They had a solid win against TCU, but I have a feeling that win won't look so impressive by season's end. TCU is probably going to lose 3-4 games this year.
In order to win 8 games, Baylor has to win two of the following:
@ A&M
@ OSU
Mizzu
OU
Tech
Texas
That's a tall order for a team like Baylor. They have beaten one team as good as any of those in their time in the Big XII, and Robert Griffin and Art Briles have still only beaten one team that finished the year with a winning record.

The Oklahoma teams are tough and balanced.
PS I like your veiled attempt to sneak in the formerly #16 ranked 2004 Aggies as if they were as good as any of the present ranked teams, I promise they weren't:
We do have a different standard as witnessed by your cherry picking stats, since 2004 most Baylor/ A&M games have gone down to the wire, seeing 22 lead changes in the fourth quarter, two over time contests, one Baylor blow out, one A7M blow out.The30YardSlant;4090376 said:Baylor has lost 23 of the last 25 games against A&M. In those 23 losses, Baylor has fallen by an average margin of 20 points per game. Baylor stayed within two TDs in only 8 of those 23 games. We must have different definitions of what constitutes playing a team "tough". Even more recently with A&M struggling mightily most of the years, Baylor has only won one of the last six and all but one of those losses was by double digits.
Baylor didnt even play Missouri last year.
Texas did lose to Baylor last year, and I'm giving you a probable win in that game.
Baylor hasnt beaten Tech since the formation of the Big XII. I'll believe it when I see it.
P.P.S. There was nothing veiled about it. Baylor has beaten one conference team ranked in the national top 25 or receiving votes in the polls at the time they beat them since the formation of the conference. In order to win eight games, they'll have to beat at least one, possibly two such teams this year. Again, I'll believe it when I see it. Robert Griffin is very, very good. The receivers are solid and the offensive line is much improved. The lack of defensive talent, no go-to runner and an overall lack of depth is not condusive to 8 and 9 win seasons in a major conference, however. Teams like A&M, OU and Oklahoma State will overpower them with a superior running game and better, stronger offensive and defensive lines.
None of this is meant to get a rise out of you or to taunt Baylor, it's just the way I see it. Baylor has an impressive offense, but they won't win a lot of games allowing 40+ points. They gave up 48 to what should be a mediocre TCU offense without Dalton, Kerley and a new offensive line. To beat OU, Oklahoma State, A&M, and Mizzu they'll have to win much lower scoring games and be able to run the ball in the second half, which I have no reason to believe they can do. They MAY get by outscoring Tech and Texas, though, but Tech has a better offense than TCU.
