I don't know if i can take any more 'draft talk', saturday just can't seem to get here fast enough. Who will the Boys take, WR, CB, OL, etc........ ? Which player Ginn, Meachem, Garrett, Nelson, Houston, Griffin, etc.......? Will they trade down? are they really considering moving up? Will they trade current players, Jones?
I can't take it anymore..........:explode:

Can somebody please start an interesting thread about something that doesn't involve the draft. I can't think of anything in particular, but maybe we can talk about which players will leave the team after the upcoming season. anything.....................

well after this week the draft talk will be done. Then we will have a mini camp the following week and a wade phillips press conference or two. THat will spawn new talk.

So just hang in there. Besides no one really knows anything. So just have fun with it.

After the Draft, we only have the mini camp - then its a long dry spell till TC. That will be worse. ABSOLUTELY nothing to talk about. I Kind of wish they would move the season up some now. We play regular season games right to January; I would move it all a month back. So that the SB takes place the second weekend in January. Won't happen since the NFL does not want competition and the colleges are playing then.

yeah, i know it will be over soon and don't get me wrong i have been having a lot of fun speculating and debating on this board. The problem (albeit a good problem to have) is the cowboys can go in so many directions and i feel we (on this board) have done a good job of covering just about every single scenerio. i personally feel i have envisioned the different ways this draft can unfold and i keep comming to the same conclusion each time. Each scenerio is almost equally likely to happen.

i'm tapped out on the 'draft talk'....:leave:

I just can't wait for this weekend to get here so we can talk about how much of a dumb *** jerry is and how Wade is just a puppet, etc...

New thread possibilities:

The NFL decided to add 2 more teams because it isn't watered down enough. Each team has to submit a list of 5 players for the expansion draft. The salary of a selected player immediately transfers to the new team, so teams may use this as a way to unload a older high-priced players without salary penalties. Which 5 players would you unprotect?

They've added football to the Olympics. Each team will be represented by 1 player for USAs dream team. Who would make the Olympic team for each team, or just the Cowboys for the lazy.

For whatever reason, the NFL is stopping and the players must find normal jobs. For new 'former Dallas Cowboys', what would those jobs be? (ie. Romo = Golfer, Owens = Childrens Author)

Affirmative Action laws are established, insisting that females must be allowed to play in the NFL and each team must have at least 1. Who will the Cowboys sign, Underwood excluded?
