I see so much negativity around here. Fans are discouraged, etcetera l, etcetera.

So here's my challenge. First, without mentioning anything about Jerry Jones, can you talk about anything you may be optimistic about? For me, I see an obvious rebuild taking place. Lots of new, younger faces coming. And then there's the draft position. It's not too bae at #12.

Overshown, even though he's injured, gives me a level of optimism because when I look at him on film, he looks like a man amongst boys even in the NFL. If he can stay healthy, I sense he may even be a super star level player. That batted pass for a TD was just unreal football focus. The possibility of seeing him with Parsons for the foreseeable future gives me optimism.

I'm also optimistic because we do so well with UDFAs, which gives us a slight edge there personnel wise.

The OL was developing last year and did surprisingly well.

I like that we brought back Dante Fowler. And added a player like Sanburn. I even like Jones as a depth player.

New coaches should be interesting to see as well.

It only last 12 months. Then we can try again in 2026. So there's that.

Yeah despite negativity on the Jones clan, the coaching search, free agency and contracts to guys like Dak I do find myself really intrigued by this “new direction” and if a coach who never qualified anywhere else can be successful. I think the quirky optimism I have may come from the idea of building around the run. I feel like our best seasons were when we simplified. So there is intrigue with what’s happening. And honestly if it goes down in a ball of flames I’m optimistic that one day the whole set up gets changed from embarrassment

Honestly, the only thing I’m looking forward to is the Jerry humiliation era is just about to begin.

Had the Dak excuse last year off of three very hollow 12 win seasons, so he has been able to buy a little time, but it’s gonna get good when this years team is buried well before anyones turkey is dead.

Winning is out of the question, so Jerry finally being exposed sounds ok, then maybe the kid gets a taste of what he doesn’t want to put up with when it’s his time…and we end up with what’s clearly necessary….a Johnson or Parcells type to come in and run it all.

I'm most optimistic about Klayton Adams as a coach and OL whisperer.

Other things:

Bland hopefully healthy again
New RB(s) and DT(s) in the draft
Beebe becoming an excellent center
Liufau being a pretty good LB
Not as optimistic, but hopeful Guyton will put it together.

The rest, not really. We don't have the horses anymore to do much damage.

Currently I don’t see anything to be optimistic about. I feel even more discouraged now than I felt at this time last year. The organization hasn’t done anything so far to bring some hope and add some excitement. We’ve had a very uninspiring HC hire and added some jags in free agency.

We should be better than last year. That's about it. I mistakenly started to inhale the hopium a little with the OC hire, but then cap boy's free agency neglect quickly course corrected me back to the dumpster fire that is this team. Back to reality...yay

Nothing, Nada.
We are doomed as a franchise until we get a real professional GM, instead of a Salesman with no football acumen.
