Anything Make You Optimistic for 2025?

Really hope Overshown comes back full force. I actually think he will. Just his nature.
He is young so there is that. My only concern is his best trait is explosiveness. I always worry about the knees aging those guys too soon. I just like his game. Very aggressive closer that blows people up. He seems to make reads quick and reacts with violence. He has the dawg in him. I truly hope we get to see his best.

I see so much negativity around here. Fans are discouraged, etcetera l, etcetera.

So here's my challenge. First, without mentioning anything about Jerry Jones, can you talk about anything you may be optimistic about? For me, I see an obvious rebuild taking place. Lots of new, younger faces coming. And then there's the draft position. It's not too bae at #12.

Overshown, even though he's injured, gives me a level of optimism because when I look at him on film, he looks like a man amongst boys even in the NFL. If he can stay healthy, I sense he may even be a super star level player. That batted pass for a TD was just unreal football focus. The possibility of seeing him with Parsons for the foreseeable future gives me optimism.

I'm also optimistic because we do so well with UDFAs, which gives us a slight edge there personnel wise.

The OL was developing last year and did surprisingly well.

I like that we brought back Dante Fowler. And added a player like Sanburn. I even like Jones as a depth player.

New coaches should be interesting to see as well.

There’s lots to be excited about with a few players. If we draft well there will be some to be excited about for the future. But unless we have some amazing draft this season may not be something to be excited about. We have to hit on 3-4 draft picks and that’s not that easy to do

naw, nothing. Can the head Jerry hater make some more Jerry hate threads? I missed those everyday threads while coming back to here dreaming of how we are Super Bowl-bound every year. LMAO. nothing like idol worship to make a guy/gal feel good.

Shotty and new staff
new RB's
Say they will run more play tough

That's about it till I see what they do in the draft.

Linebackers are real once again and defensive line brings credability again, The box area has strength and projects once again. Running against Dallas will get harder and a little work in the secondary is relevant as well, now.

Both hands are using a 30 year calendar.

We have added a rookie HC to replace a seasoned one and signed a bunch of FAs who aren’t going to have the impact needed, collectively, to effect change.
I am optimistic that Dallas will maintain the status quo from last year. I don’t get the sense that the FO has a clear, cogent strategy for moving forward; moreover, they me as being more reactive than proactive.

I’m optimistic after the GB playoff debacle 2 yrs ago other then Lunda Wells the TE coach ( don’t know why he’s back ) the entire asst coaching staff is turned over . As far as Schottenheimer sure he’s back but elevated and isn’t under the thumb of MM let’s see what he’s got .

The philosophy of running the ball effectively certainly should help both Dak & the defense now let’s see it implemented. If somehow Hampton a north south runner can be had in the 2nd go out and invest in him with Miles Sanders better suited as a relief back not the feature horse .

Wells is still here because he's a great coach, at least imo.

Absolutely. They have games to play and we truly don’t know what will come of those until they happen. We can definitely have an idea of how things are gonna work but we don’t know how the pieces will fall together. That’s the hope.
