The death by run was a bi-product of several missed opps, again take out the dumb penalties and this game is probably way diferent, they need to fix thier edge run defense no matter what but you hit Cooks on that bomb and dont extend 3 scoring drives with dumb penalties and Allen would've had to put work in to win that game...

Not rocket science. The Bills ran because A. They took an early lead B. Our offense couldn't move the ball This is primarily what did us in. We don't commit personal foul and hold them to three, we block the punt and or don't rough the punter, we challenge a fumble recovery. So many factors led to their run attempts. We're also clearly not as effective in the sloppy weather, bad footing (we're built for speed on both sides). Let's also face the fact that sometimes you run into a buzz saw. This Bills team was highly motivated and playing in a tough place to play.

100% you dont extend those drives for them and you hit your early bomb and we are talking a much diferent game..Cowboys may still have lost but it wouldn't be by 49 rush attempts.

the problem is we punched ourselves in the face repeatedly in the first quarter..it was a self inflicted wound we couldn't recover from.

So what happens when the Dolphins air raid this defense into submission next week?
are we going to extend thier first 3 drives with dumb penalties, miss a wide open bomb and just let a fumble we recover go without challenging it?

....well, Dallas is 10-4. How's the blueprint coming along?

Since wk 3 Vs Cards. Cowboys showed weaklink stopping the run.

Many teams have tried to run. But Defense has been the difference.

Bills committed to it, because it worked from the get go.

I expect DQ and MM to shore it. Or early exit from post season.
A strong offense getting leads is the difference.

The blueprint has been there since Parcells left and Garrett took over.
The Cowboys are all hype and flash- made that way because of the circus the Jerry has turned them into.
But every time an opponent gets physical with them, they crumble.

It all comes down to the offense. If we are competitive and putting up points, the pass rush is a factor.

When the offense crawls into it’s shell, the D gets exposed.

Barring a bunch of injuries to key SF personnel, they are a nightmare matchup for us. We would lose 85 out of 100 games against them

That blue print should of been available since the Niners game last season..... Without Hankins we have NO run defense....
49ers didn’t run over us last year in the playoffs
We played the run well most of the game

I don't see that game as a couple of penalties and a missed turnover.

They were destroyed for 60 minutes. It was a Pearl Harbor like beatdown.

The problems exposed are much more fundamental

Or maybe Cooks is a beast and Dallas had to play the two-threat option… their OL has been incredibly healthy too and playing well

Except for the fact that the 9ers didn't run the ball well that game.

Why do people continually make stuff up lol
Honestly, I thought the 9ers ran the ball well too. Im going to have to go look again, I guess.

Give me a break. You don't think Seattle or Philly play physical?

Yes, but not with the same purpose or intensity.
The Bills, like the Cardinals earlier this year, came with a plan to overpower the Cowboys from the beginning until the end. Then their game strategy was applied as secondary.
But the Bills meant to be physically dominant first and foremost.
And they did it.
A team like Philly looks to dazzle with individual stars. While there are times they get physical, that isn't their first priority.
