I am by no means a rap fan. Hate 99.9 pct of it. That said Public Enemy always impressed me. I recently started listening to this one again and the whole thing is amazing. This album is a magnum opus.

I'm not a Rap fan either and hated it as a kid when it was first coming out. It was kind of like Disco. If you were a Rock fan you had to hate Rap and Disco. All these years later when I'm grown...nah you can like whatever you want. I've been listening to a bunch more Rap and really like Wu-Tang Clan, Tribe Called Quest, Public Enemy, N.W.A., and all the old Dre and Snoop stuff. For a 50 year old white man I'm taking baby steps.

Wu-Tang Clan, Public Enemy, N.W.A., & Beastie Boys were all off the charts. 36 Chambers & Licensed to Ill might be the two best rap albums ever.
