First off, let me personally apologize for the loss Sunday. It wasn't BP, or JJ, or Bledsoe, or even Squiggy. It was all my fault. Normally, I watch the game at home, all alone.

But Sunday, I loaded up my lovely wife and kid and we went to my friend's house to watch the game with them.

Plenty of nachos, chips, soda and the like.

However, I was unable to utilize my full "game vocabulary" when things went south this last Sunday. Y'all may not realize this, but every game since the 1970's, when things have gone awry, I've been able to turn things around by vocalizing my "game vocabulary" at the top of my lungs toward the TV set. You may have even heard me from your own living room if you listened carefully. Every game we've ever won by coming from behind was because of my tireless work.

But I was under a gag order because some folk's sensitivities are easily bruised when they first encounter my "game vocabulary."

Again, I accept full responsibility and I apologize for not doing my job. I promise to be screaming at my TV set this Sunday.

Humbly yours,
Scot

Dont ever go to that friends house, or anywhere for that matter, again on a game day. You are grounded to your living room, will be secluded and isolated so you may feel free to vocalize anytime you deem it necassary.

Never drop the ball again!!!!

PS. What happen in the 70's in those superbowl? maybe you had not perfected your technique yet then.

bro you better watch the game this week at home by yourself . stop getting soft on us with your need of family and friends with you. come on man the chips and soda's are just going to slow you down. I want focus this week , i want passion.

i forgive you man but come on , get back in your comfort zone and rekindle the passion.. :star:

I blame myself for the Super Bowl 13 loss 'cause I prayed for a victory in church. God punished me for my arrogance.

Weird. Every time I've watched a game at a sports bar, the team I was cheering for has lost.

Haven't watched a game at a bar in years. Maybe I should go to one this Sunday and cheer for the Eagles.

I hope you've learned your lesson, Scotman.

Along the same lines, I have offically retired my "game" Jersey. I was moved this year to go out and buy a dallas jersey for game day, #31. I have only been able to wear it twice this year though, both losses. So it is done for the year. I hate being superstious (sp) but enough is enough.

Ok, who lives near Scotman and can slice his tires on Sunday morning :)

You need to choose your friends better, Scot... ;)

I feel partially responsible for our defense sucking this year..... I chose them as my fantasy team "D"..... I dropped them yesterday.. :D

I also chose David Akers and we all know what happened to him..... So, yesterday after I dropped Dallas as my team "D" I went out and picked up Philly :laugh2: I'm willing to sacrafice some points if they stink it up.... I hope this is the kiss of death for Philly.... :laugh2:

Just so everyone knows, I am at home using my full arsenal of game day vocabulary this week. First half went pretty good. I've got a few new words for the second half just in case I need them.
