Randle tells judge he can't afford lawyer or jail... (note from bleu: get a 9 to 5 homie. It's time)

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -- A Wichita native and one time Dallas Cowboys running back told a judge he doesn't have enough money for a lawyer or to post bail

Joseph Randle made a first appearance in Sedgwick County District Court this afternoon.

Randle was arrested in the early morning hours of Feb. 21, after allegedly hitting three people with his car then forcing his way into a home. He has been in jail since his arrest with his bond set at $100,000.

Randle told the judge he doesn't have enough money to afford his own attorney or to post his bond.

Well he made 1.3 million in 3 years minus taxes. I guess he could be broke. Probably bought a couple of rides and some jewelery coupled with child support, the money goes quick.

Well the good news is the same guys that drafted him are still here.Continuity is important.I understand there is a one legged blind de we are looking at if he can make bail for the domestic battery.Oh yeah and we got the the guy from Nebraska last year.SB bound no doubt.Really this is as low as we get, remember Quincy Carter.

I can't believe that this guy actually was the starting RB for the Dallas Cowboys just half a year ago.

From the penthouse to the outhouse in less than one year.
Sad.

These guys are so completely unprepared for the real world, it's a wonder any of them make it after football.

I won't laugh at another man's misfortune because I know how quickly the tides can turn. I also won't view this in the spectrum of being a Cowboys fan, because Randle doesn't play for the Cowboys anymore. The majority of his issues either popped up shortly before, or have happened since. The Cowboys also reportedly went out of their way to get Randle help and he shut them down.

I just hope the system works, for once, and the kid gets some real help.

Sad.. I really don't like seeing stories like this. Cowboy or not a lot of people have vices. It just don't make the front page.

Doubtful.

Probably will continue to spiral out of control where he's either dead at an early age or spends decades in prison.

Sadly you are probably right
Most fans would give their left testical, maybe both for a shot at playing in the nfl, and some who have the talent to do so piss it away

I'll just be glad when the Randle headlines stop starting with "Former Dallas Cowboy".....

He didn't give enough to deserve that distinction.
